The Winter Bib Tights (Women's) with Pad

US$180.00
Quantity:

The Winter Bib Tight (Women's) is a warm, fleece-backed bib tight for winter. It is recommended for cold weather riding between  0°C - 15°C (32°F - 60°F). This winter bib tight uses a fleece-backed lycra that is made using hollow yarns. These yarns create an air-based insulation layer that is lightweight and warm. This Winter Bib Tight uses the same chamois as our long-distance bibshorts.

The legs are long to cover your ankles. It comes with ankle zippers (locks in place and doesn't move) that makes this bib tight easy to slip on and off. The leg opening is hemmed with a strip of silicone that prevents them from creeping up during a ride. A strip of reflective material at the zipper adds a touch of visibility.

About this Thermal Fabric :

We took care in choosing a thermal fabric that makes this bib-tight a joy to use on your cold rides. The fabric has a wide operational temperature range, making it versatile. This fabric has the following features :

  • Recommended for temperatures between 0°C - 15°C (32°F - 60°F)**
  • Hydrophobic Treatment - repels light rain & road spray
  • Brushed Inner Fleece for soft on-skin feel
  • Piling-Resistant
  • Contains Hollow Yarns - uses the thermal properties of air to insulate you against the cold while remaining lightweight, like a polar bear's fur
  • Polyamide on the outside of the fabric and polyester on the inside against the skin allows sweat to evaporate. Polyester yarn has a low hygroscopicity, that absorbs little water, while the polyamide yarn has a hygroscopicity that’s 3x higher. The difference of hygroscopicity between the two fibres quickly transports moisture to the outside of the fabric. Your body stays dry and comfortable

Great Winter bib for those long, cold AF rides

These are amazing. The zippers are a great feature that make it easier to get these on. Highly recommend the sizing help desk to ensure you get the right size.

I put these to the test in a couple different temperatures - they are great at 30° F and they got a little toasty when the temperature rose up to 50 (makes sense) but definitely wasn't anything unbearable.

Finally, I was on the saddle for about 6.5 hours on a long ride and these worked amazingly well. My sit bones were not sore AT ALL the next day.

Thank you for the very generous review Alyx :) - Yuva, Founder

Great Winter Bibs. Excellent customer service!!!

I purchased the XL Bibs from Yuva a few months ago now, I ride approx 50+kms most mornings in North East Regional Victoria Australia, so temps can get down well below zero here before the sun comes up. Very comfy bibs to ride in, just the right amount of padding where it's required and warm enough without getting too hot, I also don't get the freezing cold knees I've had with other bib tights so I tend to reach for these now as preference. Handy zip at ankle, bit tight to do up, but is doable, I would probably best fit another size up if it was available...(hint hint Yuva 😉) although shipping was dispatched immediately, we hit a speed bump with a missing parcel to which my email was promptly replied to and Yuva jumped on straight away and sent a new pair. Both my husband and I are extremely happy with our RedWhite Apparel Winter Bibs.

    The only winter bibs

Great fleecy fabric for warmth, but doesn’t get too hot. The same trusted chamois as the shorts. The only bibs to wear in winter

    Happy

Very nice quality! Warm. Comfortable. Max saddle time so far is 2.5 hours in the rain and wind. I’m 5’3” and the bib is a little long but not a problem. It also comes a little higher on the back of my neck.

Absolutely the best bibs I've ever purchased and worn. I like to bike (and try to ride 100-200 miles per week). I purchased the cargo and winter versions. I've worn both and they are comfortable, firm, and provide just the right amount of cushion. Highly recommended!

    So far, so good

Taken for a medium spin on a cold, dreary and damp day, my new winter bib tights proved to be a winner. The sumptuous red velvety lining kept me warm, snug and comfortable. The fit is great, I'm around 174cm tall and weigh in at 65kg. Before venturing outdoors in the new kit, I tested out the bibs on a few 100km indoor rides. Yes I was too hot, but the chamois was excellent and stood up to the challenge. Now all I have to do is go on a much longer outdoor ride before magpie attack season begins in Australia.

My husband and I both wear them and they are the best comfort! Sizing is excellent. Delivery is prompt

    Fuzzy goodness!

These tights are fantastic. They are warm and the pad is excellent, especially for longer rides. Fit in M is ideal for this 175cm 62kg woman with somewhat wide hips. They are my first RedWhite bibs, but I've ordered more in the shorts version since I love these so much. I'm excited for the knicker versions that might come out.

    Good But Not Great

The women's winter bibs are warm and very comfortable with great compression, but the pad in my Assos still beats this one. These are fine for short rides, but not for moderate to long days on the saddle. Improve the pad and I'll try again. Size small.

    Dear Mas,

Thank you for taking the time to leave this review. I'm happy you like these tights in general. Regarding the pad, that is a tricky one. Bibshort pad preferences vary for each individual. I did develop the current pad with the help of several female AUDAX riders and for the majority of customers, the design provides the comfort & support required for long rides. Every year, I make tweaks to all my products to continuously improve them (kaizen principle). I'd like to know what specific part of this pad can be improved to get it to the level you need for your rides. Do shoot me an email and include any photos so I can get a good visual idea of what you prefer. My email is : yuva@redwhite.cc
