After 15 years of cycling, I was tired of what I call “40km bibs” - after 40km they’re no longer comfortable, and just not doing the job. I saw an online ad for Red White Bibs, and figured I’d give them a try. Over the past 3 years, I’ve no replaced all my bibs with Red White. They’re definitely my go to Bib shorts, even if (especially if!) I’m planning a long ride. Twice last season I did 200km+ rides and the bibs were still comfortable. Definitely a 5 star from me.
With trainer season in the forecast, I decided it was time to invest in some new long distance cycling bibs. I came across "The Bib" after a RAAM participant friend said "The Bib" by RedWhite was the only bib he used for training and racing and decided to get a pair and check them out. So far I can say that the fit and finish is excellent and the ride is wonderful. I will be getting another set soon so I can have two pair to rotate during any extended hours trainer rides in my near future.
I am currently cycling across Australia from Perth to Newcastle, 4300 kms. Today was day 25 and we have three days left. After reading all the excellent reviews about the RedWhite bibs, I bought two pairs for this ride. Riding an average of 155 kms day after day, for a month, means that good shorts are a must. I have NOT been disappointed. These shorts are fantastic. They are comfortable. They stay in place perfectly. The colours haven't faded after multiple hand-washes. They're great. I highly recommend RedWhite bib shorts. My only negative is that some of the stitching is starting to come undone on one of the legs. But other than that, they're perfect. If you're into ultra-distance riding, purchase these shorts!
