This is my second pair of stealth bib shorts. I rate them as comfortable as Rapha but cheaper. I am 78 kg and 173cm and the Large were a good fit. As always great personal service from Yuva. Thanks!
I have only worn my bibs twice since receiving them, however I must say I have already reached the conclusion they are absolutely excellent and without doubt the best I have used.. I have already recommended them to a number of my friends. Given the bibs are very tight fitting, my recommendation is to purchase one size larger than your usual size.
Initially I did need to return the bibs because they were one size too small, but exchange was managed very professionally and adjusted sized was returned to me a promptly as possible..
Had my first pair for 3 yrs and held up well, chamois still comfy till the very end! Great value for money, well made and fabric feels nice!! Ive done many 80-235km bike rides (3-11 hrs in the saddle) and became my only bib shorts of choice! I would recommend 'the bib' shorts to anyone. Communication with Yuvo the founder was most helpfull and prompt! Im 72 kg, 170cm (5'7) with athletic build and chose the medium which fit perfectly!
This is my second pair of RedWhite bibs as I decided to treat myself to a new pair after wearing my others almost exclusively for several years and many thousands of miles. I could not be happier with the quality, comfort, and fit. I am 6'-1" tall and about 190lbs, so the XLs worked just right for me. As good as my old ones were, I'm so happy I upgraded to these - pockets on bibs are a revelation! I use them WAY more than I thought I would, especially for endurance rides, and the size/placement is spot on. I just completed a 100 mile ride with 5500' of climbing and finished feeling great, with no painful distractions in the saddle. I will continue to be a RedWhite loyalist and do my best to spread the word. Nothing compares at the price.
I bought a pair of Stealth bibs about 9 days before a 105 mile ride a friend conned me into. While that wasn't a new distance for me, I did not have a pair of bibs in my closet that I knew would sufficiently handle five hours+ in the saddle. I've looked at RedWhite many times before, but never took the shot. After a quick email to Yuva for some sizing advice, I made my choice and ordered the small size to accommodate my seasonal weight swings. I am 175cm 65-69kgs depending on time of the year. They arrived quickly, in time for one ten mile try-out the day before the ride, and I decided to go all in and wear them for the 105 miles. I was not disappointed. No chaffing, saddle sores, or discomfort. I do wish I would have chosen the medium size instead of the small. They fit, but are a just a bit snug, making them hard to put on. Overall, the pad is fantastic, material quality and comfortable. I'll probably order several of the basic bibs in a size medium for weekday rides. My only wish is they were available in colors (gray and dark blue would be perfect Yuva!).
I felt the pockets were designed to be deeper and closer to the body than other bib shorts with cargo.
it is safe to ride with an iPhone 13 in them!
I've been riding in Red White for at least five years now, I've even written about the apparel on the customer blog page, so look me up there if you want more of the story about me. This recently purchased pair was a warranty replacement after I hit an unseen divot in a freshly paved road at twilight and skidded across the tarmac. I ripped a large hole in the original shorts. This replacement pair is suiting me just fine, and combined with the right saddles on my bikes, I can go long distances with no discomfort where it counts. Here's that blog post I mentioned -- https://www.redwhite.cc/blogs/customer-stories/joel-van-kuiken-grand-rapids-michigan-usa Cheers!
I expected the Stealth Bib to be a solid product. After multiple rides in the new kit they may be the best I've owned. Ever. I've been riding for over 40 years and, aside from the first couple of years when bibs were not common, I have always preferred bibs. Stealth takes the cake! The price feels right and communication and customer service were solid. All around a great experience considering I prefer LBS purchases to support local businesses. I will be buying a second set in the next couple of weeks.
I am new into mountain biking and decided to order some entry bibs. I could no be happier. They fit great and chamois is really comfortable. Their customer service is excellent. You can spect a fast response to any question you have.
Have used these bibs on a few rides, and I really like them. Comfortable, good pad for longer rides.
Only negative is that the legs could have been longer. I'm 202cm tall and skinny/athletic, and the fit is right on, but a little short on the legs. It's not to short to use, but would really like a "long" or "tall" option.
I am a bit of an outlier in terms of shape and chamois preference. I'm post-menopausal with an "apple" figure (big belly), 66", 130#. The fit chart suggested a medium but after emailing with Yuva, I went with a large. They fit nicely though the leg cuff is a bit loose but that's because my thighs are somewhat small. I don't like a super tight fit and these are just right. The chamois also works pretty well for me. I wanted good padding on the sit bone area but not too much thickness in front because I ride with anterior tilt and the pressure can be too much. The chamois isn't perfect but it's good (unlike the Pearl Izumi's I could tolerate for only 100 feet before I turned around and changed). It seems like the chamois is getting more comfortable after several rides so either it breaks in or I'm adapting. I have a long torso and the straps are a good length and not too tight. I'd prefer shorts to bibs for the convenience factor but these are very good. Delivery was incredibly fast, too.
Done 2000 km so far with my new pair and compared to my previous pairs this is progress. No wrinkles and stays in place. Nothing to complain about and excellent personal service.
I’ve recently been pushing the time in the saddle on longer rides doing some randonneuring in preparation for long multi-day bikepacking. I was in search of a bib that could hold up. My two issues were skin breakdown and cushion for my sit bones. I had no issues with skin breakdown on the 24 hour ride (17hrs peddling over 24hrs out the door). I did use chamois cream at the start, at mile 140, then again at mile 200. The temperature was very high on the coast 90+ degrees with unusually high humidity; nothing ever dried off. The wicking ability held up incredibly well. The second point, sit bones cushion. The fit of the bib makes the thicker cushioned part of the chamois sit well beneath my sit bones to reduce the pressure over the 24 hours. In all, very happy with the bib and will certainly be adding more to my collection.
These are the most comfortable bibs i have. Currently using pactimo raptor, santini karma, exteondo orhi. For rides exceeding 3 hrs these are it. 5’ 10” 175lbs size L fits great. Customer service is directly with owner and is outstanding. Free shipping and a very reasonable price for a superb pair of bibs! I will be buying more.
