*It is recommended to use a sports bra without a plunging centre with this Drop-Tail Winter Bib Tight for added comfort. Ideally, use sports bras with a rounded neckline / camisole style.

The The Drop-Tail Winter Bib Tight with Pad (Women's) is a warm, fleece-backed bib tight for winter. It is recommended for cold weather riding between 0°C - 15°C (32°F - 60°F). This winter bib tight uses a fleece-backed lycra that is made using hollow yarns. These yarns create an air-based insulation layer that is lightweight and warm. This Drop-Tail Winter Bib Tight uses the same chamois as The Drop-Tail BIB.
The legs come with ankle zippers (locks in place and doesn't move) that makes this bib tight easy to slip on and off. The leg opening is hemmed with a strip of silicone that prevents them from creeping up during a ride. A strip of reflective material at the zipper adds a touch of visibility.
With Drop-Tail Straps
This Winter Bib Tight comes with a Y-style Drop-Tail strap for easy nature breaks. The front of this bibshort uses a Y-style strap made using the same thermal fleece fabric as the rest of the tights. It has a plunging neckline for comfort. The back features a split strap that connects just above your posterior for easy pull-down during nature breaks. These back straps are made using a lightweight mesh fabric that vents heat and stretches well for easy pull-down.
How to use the Drop-Tail Strap :
This bibshort is designed to be pulled down at the rear without removing your jersey. To use this feature, do the following :
- Lift the rear of your jersey and hook your thumbs into the gap between the straps at the rear.
- Gently bend your legs at the knees.
- Pull down the bibs over your posterior. You will encounter some tension in the straps when you pull it down past the mid point of your posterior. This is normal and the bibs have been designed for that.
- Bend your knees more while pulling down the bibs even more at the rear.
- You should now be able to sit or squat comfortably for a nature break with the rear of the bibs out of the way.
About this Thermal Fabric :
We took care in choosing a thermal fabric that makes this bib-tight a joy to use on your cold rides. The fabric has a wide operational temperature range, making it versatile. This fabric has the following features :
- Recommended for temperatures between 0°C - 15°C (32°F - 60°F)**
- Hydrophobic Treatment - repels light rain & road spray
- Brushed Inner Fleece for soft on-skin feel
- Piling-Resistant
- Contains Hollow Yarns - uses the thermal properties of air to insulate you against the cold while remaining lightweight, like a polar bear's fur
- Polyamide on the outside of the fabric and polyester on the inside against the skin allows sweat to evaporate. Polyester yarn has a low hygroscopicity, that absorbs little water, while the polyamide yarn has a hygroscopicity that’s 3x higher. The difference of hygroscopicity between the two fibres quickly transports moisture to the outside of the fabric. Your body stays dry and comfortable
