I have been wearing these bibs during the Canadian winters, between zero to 13 degrees Celsius and had a chance to ride them in infamous Paris to Ancaster Gravel race. They have held up to whatever has been thrown their way. The bibs are very comfortable and you don't really feel them. I did have the rare pinch following some hike and bike around my hips, but it's not a major concern and the quality of the bib and compression makes up for it.
The material is excellent and you never feel too hot or too cold. I'm glad I bought them and feel confident riding with them - just wondering if you would be making a cargo version?
Due to the warmer weather, I haven't had the opportunity to put in some serious mileage on these winter bibs but so far so good,
very well made, great fit and really comfortable
Recently bought a winter bib from RW -- I've bought other bibs as well and have pleased with the fit and comfort of the bib. I decided to try their winter bib and was very pleased with fit and comfort as well. Despite a ride with a 15mph wind and temps 35F -- The ride was warm, and comfortable. I highly recommend the winter bib. One feature that would be good, but not a game changer -- would be to add some side pockets.
Chris here, a group of us bought via Satinder.
These tights are great, the fit is excellent even with my lockdown/winter weight gains. They are warm enough (I don't ride when its really cold) and very, very comfortable on a ride. Highly recommended.
I’ve used these down through the mid 20Fs and I have stayed very comfortable. I always liked the heat management of the Gore winter bibs, but hated the pad. Here the pad matches the summer bibs, which are my all time favorites. I was skeptical that these would manage the heat as well, but I think they do. I may request some more wind stopping fabric around the groin, but not nearly as bad as all other non-Gore winter bibs that I have tried before.
First pair of winter bib from RW. Chamois is the reason I bought this brand and it didn’t disappoint. Read a lot of reviews about how good the chamois is for long-distance cycling. I had my 31 miles gravel race this year and my bottom feels great after the ride. I will buy again a pair of bib for warm weather before it gets really warm here in Texas. I had cheap bibs I bought from Amazon although the RW is a little bit pricier but not as expensive as other popular cycling brands.
What I like most about the thermal Bibs is they fit the same as my regular Red White Bibs. Very comfortable and effective when the weather turns cold. Good covering all the way to the ankles. I would purchase again1
It's so comfortable for long ride and the fiber is pretty aero really happy with this product
This is my 2nd pair of RW bibs. I first purchased the 'Entry Bib Shorts'. I was unsure buying RW bib tights because getting a good fit is difficult for me - 6' tall, 200 lbs with overly developed leg and glute muscles. The 'Winter Bid Tights' fits with no issues. They are awesome! After wearing them for more than a 1,000 miles of road and gravel riding, they have been extremely comfortable and they don't get too warm when the temperature warms during the middle of the day. No more early morning cold rides for me! I want to wear these tights all the time!
I reached out to Yuva since I am a unique size (at 6'6 or 2m and 205 lbs. or 93 kg) and he could not have specified a more perfect fitting bib. The fleece liner is incredibly warm but not suffocating. I wore this down to 32 degrees F with no problem staying warm. I have yet to go colder with some icy conditions where I live. The straps are wide and stay put. The pad is incredibly comfortable. I was not too uncomfortable on my 2 -2.5 hr rides without bibs, but this has made me realize I could be very comfy without even the thought I would be uncomfortable. These bibs are amazing to say the least.
