*The BIB is also available in the new 10 Year Anniversary Special Edition. Same Bibshort, with special red and white logos to mark RedWhite's 10th Anniversary.

**Sizing Note : If you are a short and heavy rider, look for the shorter inseam size option. If you're tall & lean, look for the longer inseam size option. If ever in doubt, use the Sizing Helpdesk for a personalised size recommendation.

***The critical dimension for sizing is the glute circumference. Weight is a loose proxy for this. Naturally, a taller person will weigh more, hence the expanded weight range for Longer Inseam bibs. Do not pick a size based solely on weight and pay attention to the glute circumference.

The BIB (Men's) is RedWhite's signature long distance cycling bib short for men. It is a tool that will help you ride further, comfortably.

This bib short is available in 3 inseam length options : Regular, 2" Shorter Inseam and 2" Longer Inseam.

A Bib Short Built for Long Distance Rides

This bib short is designed to help you crush big miles in comfort. It is made for rides of more than 5 hours and has been ridden in events such as :

  • Transcontinental Race
  • AUDAX
  • Paris-Brest-Paris
  • Race Across America
  • Pacific Coast Bicycle Race
  • Atlas Mountain Race
Available in 3 Inseam Lengths:

This bibshort is available in 3 inseam lengths - Regular, 2" Shorter Inseam & 2" Longer Inseam. The 2" Shorter inseam version is a Regular Length with 2" taken off the legs. The 2" Longer inseam version is a Regular Length with 2" added to the legs.

For example : A 180 lbs (81kg) rider who is 5 foot 6" with a 41 inch glute circumference would need a size XL. However, the size XL (Regular) will be too long for him. He will need the size XL (2" Shorter Inseam) for his 5 foot 6" height. On the other end of the spectrum, a rider who is 145 lbs and 6 foot 1 inch tall with a 35.5 inch glute. This rider will find a S (Regular) too short in the legs and will need S (+2" Longer Inseam).

This is my second pair. I think they are a good quality item and the ability to purchase with either extra length or shorter is great.

        Time to test……

I now own two pairs of RedWhite shorts. A couple of months ago I purchased the cargo shorts and have already reviewed them. I’ve since purchased the standard shorts too and a few weeks back I put them to the test on a three day bikepacking trip. I covered 300km in total with the longest day being 70 miles (roughly 115km, between Milton Keynes and Swindon, UK). If you’re reading these reviews, you’re already considering a pair of Yuva’s shorts. Now that I’ve put them through a decent test, I absolutely recommend these shorts! I own Assos shorts as well as other well known brands and I left them at home. RedWhite was the right choice. The insert lives up to its ‘all-day’ design. I was riding between 5 and 6 hours each day with plenty of steep in-the-saddle climbing and the insert never once felt like it had had enough for one day. It just felt good ALL day👍🏼. Yuva, I stuck to your instructions for handwashing religiously (in the bath of my hotel room🤗) and hung them out to dry in the sunshine when I stopped (see the photo, taken at Bradford-on-Avon lock by the Kennet & Avon Canal for anyone who might be interested☺️).
For sizing then. I’m 177cm tall (not quite 5’10”) and weigh 210Lbs or 95kg(ish). 36inch (92cm) waist and in the standard shorts, I wear XL. The cargo shorts is quite a different sizing system but I stuck strictly to Yuva’s charts and I’m in 3XL for the cargo shorts. Both for me were standard length as opposed to the longer or shorter models.
I don’t know how you came to these sizes Yuva, but you’re spot-on👍🏼!! For me, these shorts literally fit where they touch, in both designs and sizes. So stick to Yuva’s advice.
In summary, I’m happy now that I’ve tested them on a few longer days with weight in the bike. These shorts will easily outgun anything the Swiss have to offer. If you’re looking at longer days, trust Yuva and give RedWhite a shot👌🏼. Oh and I’m not sure what sort of magic you used to achieve it Yuva, but my second pair, the standard shorts, arrived with me from Singapore in six days. Now THAT is service👏🏼!!!
        Happy cycling guys and girls🫡.

        The Bib

I bought the bib shorts on recommendation from an Audax group I'm involved in, they didn't disappoint. Yuva offers a great service, I love the that he offers size guidance and delivery was super quick. I'll be back for another pair and the winter tights too.

        Happy

After help with sizing i found them firm around the front, but a size up would be too big so happy with fit, havent had a long ride yet but 2 outings of a couple of hours has me very pleased, another pair will be bought in due course

Really good quality, sizing spot on.
Makes so much difference on any ride to be comfortable all the time.
Love these niks, my fifth purchase, I’ll keep coming back.

        Excellent Fit

I found these shorts to be excellent. They felt a little diffrent, the fitting was firm, but supportive. The pad is excellent and very good on longer distances. Even the bib straps seemed less intrusive.
I'm a fuller figure rider at 181 and the sizing page was detailed but delivers.
I have used every brand to complete many Audax challenges over the last ten years.
I certainly will be purchasing a 2nd pair in the future.
The aesthetics of the shorts are simple and the quality of the product at this price point is on point.
        Great performance Great value

        My go to bib short

My second pair of these bib shorts and I’m super happy with them. They are very well designed and made, no criticisms.
The sizing is spot on. I’m 186cm and 75kg and find either the Large or Large Long to work. It just depends on your preference

        THE best!!

My second pair and counting! These are spectacular and exactly as advertised when it comes to comfort on longer rides.

        My third pair!

This is my third pair of RedWhite shorts. Went for the longer variant and this was a good choice, as the normal length in my usual size was a little on the short side. It's just a case of paying attention to the fitting guidance.

The firmness and thickness of the chammy is above and beyond other brands I have (which mostly use Elastic Interface pads). The bib straps are perhaps a little basic compared to more "couture" brands but they do the job and aren't uncomfortable.

These are my first choice every time on 200km+ rides. Highly recommended!

        Comfort from first use.

eceived these one week before my 10-day attempt at LEJOG. The plan was for them to be a backup pair to my usual Assos bib shorts. I took them for a 30-mile spin a few days before and loved them. I wore them on the first day of LEJOG and had zero issues; they were comfortable throughout. So much so that I washed and dried them each night and wore them for 10 days in a row. Very comfy and well-made shorts. I had no issues during my trip, and these will now be my number one bib short brand going forward.
