LONG-DISTANCE BIBSHORTS THAT HELP YOU RIDE FURTHER, MORE COMFORTABLY
Trusted by thousands of long-distance cyclists around the world, RedWhite Apparel's Bibshorts is the pinnacle of on-bike comfort.
Get the best bibshort you will ever own.
I commute to work across a couple provinces (Canada), so this means I need double of everything….including bib shorts! I’ve been searching for a comfortable pair for a few years and have been thoroughly impressed with the quality, fit, comfort and chamois in these shorts. It’s an extra bonus that they ship fast and communicate quickly. I’ve purchased 6 pairs and will buy a couple more as I’ve replaced all my old bibs with these. Im a heavy cyclist at 235lbs (107kg), i don’t ride crazy distances but do complete one or two 100km rides a month, I also spend a fair amount of time on the trainer. If they are this comfortable for me I can’t imagine how comfortable these would feel on a lighter rider.
Full disclaimer, at this point I've only worn $30 knock of bibs from Asia. I'm 6' tall, 162lbs, ride 200-300 miles a week. A few of those weekly rides fall in the 3-5 hour window. I've experienced chronic saddle sores despite three different bike fits on an endurance bike with 4 different saddles.
Yuva recommended the Mediums, they were significantly tighter around the groin area than I was accustomed to. Not having prior experience with high end bibs I wasn't sure if this was meant to be. He assured me it was. After using them twice I was getting some discomfort in the groin region, I suspected from being too tight or too short for my torso. But after a few washes this discomfort seemed to diminish greatly. Still Yuva was willing to swap them out for a large, even though I had worn and washed them several times. In light of that I went to order a second pair, and decided to stick with the medium. He saw my order, emailed me and suggested I tried the large. I agreed, he sent them and they're more comfortable and feel almost exactly the same in size, as the mediums, I was afraid they'd be too large, but they're not (at least after three wears/washes).
A quick word about Yuva. The man gives me hope in the world, I will be a loyal fan for life, and I wish more businesses took on the time, care, and work ethic he has. At the very least support his business, he deserves it like no other. He spent a significant amount of time, talking me through what I needed, when the first pair didn't have the perfect fit he sent the next size up, he didn't have to but he did. And I greatly respect that.
One last thing. These were shipped from Singapore to the US. I got them in under a week. A comparison, I bought a jersey from Siroko, based in Spain. They took almost a month to arrive, the sizing chart was waaaay off. I asked to exchange them. They said they would issue a refund, I had to ship at my expense which was $US20, when it got to Spain they emailed me and said I had to pay them an additional $28 to be released from customs. That's almost $50 to return an $80 jersey. I told them to keep it.
Having now completed over a thousand miles in RedWhite bibs I now feel that I can give an honest and measured review.
We are bombarded with hype and technical bull regarding this and that “space age tech” thousands of hours of testing in our labs bla, bla, bla.
The fact is once you’ve Been riding for a while and spent a substantial amount of cash on carbon crap, high end parts titanium bolts waxed chains ceramic bearings £240 bibs.
I have done all of this and more.
So when the truth finally dawns that what you truly love is just riding your bike and it really doesn’t matter what you ride an old beat up steel frame or the latest carbon wonder, what really matters is how long you can bear sitting on it.
With these bibs the answer is all day.
The thing is the first 25 miles will alway feel a bit uncomfortable no matter what your wearing it’s the next 100 mile+ that makes the difference and these do that.
All day riding is not a problem and that’s what matters here.
They are for long distance. Not 25 mile time trials.
but it’s not just the quality of the product, which is great bye the way it’s the personal touch which tips the scales for me.
Yuva is contactable at any time he personally answers any queries, the customer service is outstanding and that says it all to me.
I do hope this continues.
The only criticism I have is that
I am not the tallest of men
1.7m so all bibs, regardless of manufacture are alway too long in the leg why can you not make short leg versions.
I have spoken with Yuva about this so maybe it may happen.
I can’t be the only short arse around.
Oh and the Cargo bibs are also brilliant more pockets than you can shake a stick at.
Next purchase are winter tights
You can send me a pair of large when they come back in stock😉
as a long standing customer of RED WHITE i can assure you that when you purchase from RED WHITE you are getting a qualitly product at a great price. Yuva backs this up with second to none customer service which you would struggle to find else where. I had to return my bibshorts as they were the incorrect size (my fault) and the process was simple and fast Yuva was always accomdating and made the return and the change to correct size easy ..
if your in the market for quality gear RED WHITE are your go to .. forget the big name brands these stack up to any of them without the over inflated price tag .. backed up by great customer service , cant beat that combination
I decided to purchase bibs that I might have greater comfort in the seat area; they helped me. The quality of these bibs seems good and the price seemed fair. I watched some YouTube videos that helped me choose RedWhite, Charles' videos.
I wasn't sure of the correct size, RedWhite ordering system enabled me to choose the correct size (I had gained an additional 60 pounds or so during the past 3 years in hormone therapy for prostate cancer and required 3xl). I hadn't ridden bicycle for 2-3 years, but am riding again because I was diagnosed with high sugar. I just turned 70, and am trying to stave off other health concerns as long as possible.
I loved the first pair so much that I order another set on 2 additional occasions. They fit a little snugger compared to other brands I’ve used. I have small legs so this was a plus for me. A+ on a great bib at a great price. Yuva’s customer service is superb.
I really like the comfortable fit on the bib especially on long ride Century. Love the stretch material and the navy color go well with my Jersey. I would like to purchase another soon. Thank you Red White.
With all the hype in the bike industry, it’s hard to believe everything you come across. I have ridden these bibs for a couple of thousand kilometres now, through all sorts of nasty weather, and can report that, yes, they are definitely everything that others are saying about them. My daughter was having some difficulty finding comfortable bibs and I came across a story where they mentioned RedWhite bibs. I passed it on and she ordered a set of cargo bibs. She loved them so much it inspired me to order a set for myself. I’m so glad that I did. I have lots of bib shorts from most of the fancy brands but the RedWhite bibs are my go to for almost every ride now. At first try-on, they felt a bit odd because the chamois is positioned differently than all of my other bibs. Once you get on the saddle though, it just feels so right. Now, my other bibs just feel so wrong. I don’t see any reason to purchase another brand when these bib shorts exist. Excellent quality, amazing fit and reasonably priced. The pockets are great too. Customer service is outstanding. Treat yourself to a pair - you won’t be disappointed.
I have used other Bibs but these are among the best and the price can not be beat. I ordered these on a Saturday and was riding in them the very next weekend. Best fit and finish. Awesome shipping time. Waiting to order my winter pair or two. hint hint
I ordered 2 more pairs of bibs after more than 1000 miles on my first ever pair. These two new pair fit just like the first pair. Materials used are top notch. I tell all my friends about these bibs. Waiting to order a winter pair as the weather will soon shift into ever cooler temps very soon. Thank you for providing a quality bib at an incredible price point.
I have tried Rapha and Gore Wear so far and this has fit me the best. Everyone's body is different and I have found that it's either too tight or loose on the straps while the it fits well on my thighs. These have hit the right spot and a very snug and comfortable fit. I have the cargo bib shorts and the 2 large pockets on the back are great.
There's options for you to return if it didn't fit well so these services are great especially for cycling gear. All the brands have different sizes so it's important to have this option. The customer service is great and recommendation has been spot on! I haven't done anything longer than 80Kms yet but during this time I didn't feel like the same soreness I would from other brands like Rapha.
I bought these for training, in preparation for long distance bike-packing events. Early days, but they feel superior to standard nicks comfort-wise and the fit is excellent. I definitely recommend these.
Very comfortable for long ride. The sizing is fit with me. Sure will buy RW again in the near future.
These are fantastic Bibbs. Comfortable for those long rides or just a casual trail tour. Be advised that these run small. I am 6'1, 175 lbs with a 34 waist and I needed to order an XL but they fit great! Thanks to Yuva for helping me wit the fit.
I've introduced my wife to the wonderful world of road cycling, so I bought her The Bib. I didn't know the exact size for her, so I asked for sizing help. Yuva was so helpful and gave me the precise size that I should get based on the measurement he asked. And of course, I already knew the quality of the bib, but I got a confirmation from my wife that the bib is indeed a good bibshort for long rides. I kinda wish that there's and entry level bib for women too.
