The Cargo Bib Short (Men's) with Pockets

I ordered a pair of the cargo bib shorts based on the positive online feedback and I haven't been disappointed! I've got a couple of pairs from other well known brands and these are by far the most comfortable for any long distance riding. I used the online size guide and got size L rather than my usual M. They felt very snug to start with but you soon get used to that. I wore them on the Cingles Du Mt Ventoux challenge this week - 8 hours of pain everywhere except my butt :-)

I was recommended these by my bro and fellow cyclist, and thought I’d give them a try. Very glad I did as I have become something of a convert. Whilst I’d not purchased others I would regard as super high end (mostly mid-range Altura for example), these are like a different universe! Noticed the difference straight away with the level of comfort and general quality of materials. Just feels completely different in the saddle with the feel of being able to ride forever. I got the cargo shorts and the pockets are so useful, even if just for shoving phone and cash temporarily when on ride stops. I am 177cm and was recommended regular XL by the size guide. Was slightly surprised by this but went with it and the fit is perfect.
Whilst I’ve not used on 7 hour+ ride yet, I really wish I’d had them on my last epic ride in the UK Peak District earlier in the year. I did take them to Majorca on a recent family holiday where I was able to escape for half a day in the mountains, and they performed exceptionally.
If you are considering these, I would strongly recommend you try them, you’ll be glad you did!

My first impression when these cargo bibs arrived was simply, “Wow.” I’ve owned a lot of cycling gear over the years, and these are easily the nicest bibs I’ve ever held. The quality, construction, and attention to detail immediately stood out, but what impressed me most was that they were clearly designed by someone who rides.

I bought them for my first one-day Seattle to Portland ride, and after 206 miles I can confidently say they lived up to that first impression. The cargo pockets comfortably carried everything I needed for the entire ride without overloading my jersey, and the bibs simply disappeared while riding—which is the highest compliment I can give cycling apparel. I never found myself adjusting them or thinking about them, even over 200+ miles.

I’m currently about 1200km into a 1800km ride through France and Spain. My RW bibs are excellent- comfortable with absolutely no problems or soreness. Washed each evening as Yuva details and ready to go again the next day. Very highly recommended!

Ive been bikepacking the EU for more than 8 weeks and Red White squared me away fast. Shipping came in a timely manner and these bibs are top notch. For me I feel definitely worth the investment.
I went with the men's cargo bibs because im familiar with a more traditional style bib and after 4+ hours on the bike I often get really finneky about whats on my shoulders. Plus I also wanted the extra pockets. I can fit a 500 ml bottle on the back pockets and a full bag if chips or 2 medium size bananas on the leg pockets with no issues. These are great! The stitching is top notch and the shammie pad is dense and well designed. Already thinking about retiring my other pair of bib shorts and adding another set of redwhite to the rotation. If you're thinking about it just go for it. If you're uncertain about size the fit adviser was an extremely pleasant interaction.

Fantastic bib shorts. I used these for the Fred Whitton challenge. I had no issues with comfort (9:30 hrs in the saddle ) The pockets held all my gels and rain jacket with room to spare and no moving around. Highly recommend these bib shorts.

I’ve never invested in expensive bibshorts before and have had mixed results from purchases at the lower end of the price spectrum. So knowing I had a big ride coming up I made a last minute decision to go for the RedWhite Cargo bibshorts. Communication with Yuva was excellent, I took my measurements, and the XL regular was recommended.
The shorts arrived within the promised time period and, while I have never had an XL size of bibshorts in the past, these fitted snuggly. They were tried on as per instructions in case there was a need for a return.
So the only thing left to do was set off on my ride. It was the end of September in the UK so the days were not long and my route was less than smooth. The shorts performed very well over the 5 days, averaging over 100 miles per day. The comfort was excellent not just the padding between me and the saddle but the ‘crown jewels’ were nicely cradled, no awkward on the move rearrangements of the undercarriage! The cargo pockets on the thighs were great, super handy for bars as well as useful for phone and wallet when popping in to shops.
After 5 days and 580 miles I made it back home after completing the biggest circle you can fit in the UK. Bibs, and all my riding gear, in dire need of a wash. But they performed excellently!

Best Bib I ever bought! I just returned from a 1000km bikepacking tour across Germany and I am so glad I did it with these genuine Bib Shorts… It‘s been 7 long days on the saddle and sitting never was a problem. I bought the Cargo Version cuz the normal was sold out. I usually don‘t like pockets on Bib Shorts but these are designed perfectly so you can‘t see them when there‘s nothing in it and they‘re super nice to just stow away some litter till the next trash bin. I ordered the -2" Version because I like them ab bit shorter as you can see in the pic and I‘m super happy with it. Yuva‘s Support was extraordinary kind and quick. I've had the opportunity to put about 400 miles on a pair of 4XL Regular Cargo Bib Shorts with Pockets which I ordered a little over a month ago. First off, I feel compelled to say that it has been a very long time (possibly never) since I received the level of service I did from Yuva! Sadly, my expectations for service have significantly declined over the years. Yuva's consultation regarding size occurred via email and nearly happened in real-time. I highly recommend sending Yuva a note before ordering provide some measurements as I would definitely ordered the wrong size for myself. While I admittedly had some weight to lose, I would never have guessed I needed a 4XL. The bib recommended fits great, the quality is excellent, and I actually love the cargo pockets. While I generally don't ride with anything in them other than maybe a gel pack, they are super convenient for holding my phone or other items as I'm getting situated to go out for a ride or coming back into the house afterwards. I'll definitely be seeking to order another pair before too long so I can have another one in rotation. I'm just waiting a little longer so maybe my next pair will be a 2XL instead of a 4XL :-) Thanks for your diligent service Yuva and for creating and manufacturing such a functional and quality product!! Bought the Bibshorts for the transcontinental race and what shall I say - tried it before the race only for three rides with about 50km each. Felt great, so gave it a chance.

Finished the transcontinental race in 15.5 days (4.700km), the shorts did a great job!

So 5 stars from my side - quality is great, fit was perfect (listen to the size you get recommended, my size is one bigger than normal), no (bigger) problems with seating even after 10+ days.

If I’d do the TCR again - would use it again 😀

Honestly, my only complaint about these bibs is I cannot wear them every day! Damn laundry. they’ve made me dislike the countless other, more expensive bibs in my kit drawer.

I brought these after using the sizing recommendations from Yuva and purchased the 2xl regular, initially I struggled with the chamois, feeling it was too far forward, but I have to say, after cycling from the UK to Briancon in France and back again, these are my favourite shorts. The pockets on the sides are very handy and I used the back pockets to store a bag of ice when the temperature rose to over 40 degrees plus on a couple of days. The leg grippers did deform, but this could have been down to the drying of them at a high heat. After cycling around 2300km in them, would I recommend them? Absolutely. Would I buy them again? Absolutely, I should have brought more the first time, but I guess you live and learn. These were my go to shorts everyday when I had a choice of riding in these or a pair of Assos bib shorts.

While I was searching for a bib short that would be comfortable for ultra racing, I came across RedWhite through an IG ad and was quite impressed by the impressions of previous users. After getting in touch with Yuva in order to find the best size fit, I decided to get the cargo bibs in order to have some easily available space for stuff that I can reach for instantly. The bibs arrived a week after my purchase and the package was due customs and fees, but that's to be expected when receiving a package from outside the EU.
Although I am usually a size M in most bibs, Yuva recommended to get a size L for the cargo bibs and what can I say... he was right. The fit is still tight, but never uncomfortable. I noticed some weird popping noises when I put the bibs on for the first time and I was scared that the stitching would fail (because that's it sounded). But it was actually the side pockets seating in, which happens when you put it on the first time according to Yuva.
After wearing the cargo bibs for a few long training rides, I was really surprised with how well they performed, even after 10 hours in the saddle with almost no breaks in between (maybe a short re-supply at the gas station). So I was very confident to go into my very first ultracycling race 2 weeks ago and what can I say... the first race day saw me going 14 hours in the first stint with only around 15 minutes of stopping time and leaving behind 340kms with over 3000 meters of climbing. I felt comfortable in the bibs throughout the entire ride and the cargo pockets came in handy so many times. The second race day I had to scratch from the race due to stomach issues, but until that point and another 200kms I still felt great riding the bibs. This photo is from one of the hardest climbs of day 1 and you can most likely see the ClifBar in the right cargo pocket (which I definitely needed after reaching the summit, haha).
Overall I can 100% recommend RedWhite, their customer support and the bib shorts. I will definitely get another one for sure!!!

I challenged myself to do chase the sun north route this year. A 200 mile ride in a day. At 61 I needed comfortable bibs. I read the reviews on here and took a punt hoping for a big improvement on my current bibs which were ok for 50 miles.
Well I can say that the bibs exceeded my expectations and I recommend these to friends.

I wanted to start by saying the customer service & shipping are brilliant, Yuva was a great help and the bibs fit very well when I tried them on stood up, compressive without being restrictive. I’m 6’6” and 94kg so not your typical size for a cyclist. And I think that’s where my problems start, the dotted leg grippers just don’t seem to grip, the bibs ride up and I’m constantly pulling them down, they bunch up and form a tight line around the top of the cargo pocket across the top of my thigh which becomes uncomfortable very quickly.

The pad itself just isn’t wide enough for my sit bones the double density part stops almost immediately where my sit bones are and from there the pad is very thin, ended up with a dull dead leg after about 90 mins.

I wanted to like these shorts like so many other reviewers have, unfortunately for me and my size the fit standing up was brilliant, the fit on the bike was very uncomfortable. Leading me to going back to my original brand. You win some you lose some.

I had a small issue with the bib shorts, and the solution was fast, simple, and very satisfactory—Yuva sent me a new one. Perfect.

I used the bib shorts for 43 hours during The Traka 560 KM, and the result was excellent: very comfortable, zero hassles, zero friction (with chamois cream). The pockets are amazing. It’s still too early to comment on durability, as I’ve only used them for a short time. One small thing: when you first put them on, they feel a bit uncomfortable around the groin, but after about 10 minutes they settle in and no longer bother you. It’s a bit odd—maybe it’s just me, or I’m not putting them on quite right. Thanks Yuva!

Unfortunately I was not impressed with the cargo bib, crotch seam stitching. I feel like this is important for future buyers to READ, because unlike higher quality bibs like ASOS, RW bibs have a sewn stitch along the most contacted spots where your crotch makes contact with your saddle. This leads to friction and rubbing on the seams, and over a 70+ ride I noticed it. If the bibs were seamless where the contact with the saddle is they would be a much better product. I do not advise buying these for long rides. That said the cargo pockets are great for carrying all your snacks!
