*This is an updated model for 2022 and is based on our most popular men's long distance bib short : The BIB (Men's). This bib short is available in 2 Inseam Lengths (Regular & 2" Shorter Inseam).

**Sizing Note : If you are a shorter and heavier rider, look for the shorter inseam version. If ever in doubt, use the Sizing Helpdesk for a personalised size recommendation.

The Cargo Bib Short (Men's) with Pockets is designed to help you ride further than ever before. 4 large pockets allow you to store large quantities of nutrition, inner tubes, tool kits, spare clothing and more. These pockets are made from a tough & stretchy nylon fabric that is snag-resistant.

This bib short has a custom fit for for shorter & heavier riders with the introduction of 2" shorter inseam size options. More details below 👇.

A Bib Short Built for Long Distance Rides

This bib short is designed to help you crush big miles in comfort. It is made for rides of more than 5 hours and has been ridden in events such as :

  • Transcontinental Race
  • Paris-Brest-Paris
  • Race Across America
  • Pacific Coast Bicycle Race
What can these pockets carry? :

The model in these photos is 6 foot 3.5 inch, 38" Hip & Glute circumference, weighs 180 lbs. He is wearing a size L (Regular) and is carrying the following items, with room for more :

  • Samsung Galaxy S9+ phone & 1 Gel with room for 2 more (thigh pocket)
  • 3 cereal bars, with room for 1 more (thigh pocket)
  • Banana & 2 inner tube (lower rear pocket)
  • Pump, Tyre Levers & 1 inner tube (upper rear pocket)
Available in 2 Inseam Lengths:

This bibshort is available in 2 inseam lengths - Regular & 2" Shorter Inseam. The 2" Shorter inseam version is a Regular Length with 2" taken off the legs. It's tailored for riders who need bibshorts with shorter legs.

For example : A 180 lbs (81kg) rider who is 5 foot 6" would need a size XL or 2XL for his girth. However, the size XL (Regular) or 2XL (Regular) will be too long for him. He will need the size XL (2" Shorter Inseam) or size 2XL (2" Shorter Inseam) for his 5 foot 6" height.

Note for Returning Customers :

This bib short has been designed to retain the same fit, feel and performance as the bibshorts you've been purchasing for years from RedWhite. The only major change is the new Silicone Macro-Dot Gripper (see photos). This gripper was chosen for 2 reasons :

  1. It is more durable and doesn't overstretch with use. It stays grippy longer than the gripper used in our older bibshorts.
  2. It grips knee and leg warmers & coolers better. You can easily slip this gripper over the ends of your knee / leg coverings and have it hold those coverings better than the old grippers.

Keen eyed customers would notice the new rubber logo stitched on left thigh. This rubber logo has been ride-tested extensively. You won't notice it while riding. It is also washing-machine friendly and durable. Please note to only wash your bibshort in a cold wash cycle and never use a dryer-machine. Heat damages lycra and rubber.

      My 2nd order

Definitely the best bib i have ever used. My 2nd order is cargo bib which is very convenient for long distance ride to bring all ur stuff inside multiple pocket available. Waiting for 3/4 cargo bib if yuva decided to produce it.

      Best fitting bib shorts

I am a plus sized cyclist and have always had trouble finding bibs the fit me. Either the inseam was always too long and it went over my knees or there was always some parts that were too tight or too loose. I have messaged Yuva a few months back and he refused to sell me his previous bibs because he didn’t want me to be disappointed at the fit. Told me he a new fitting bibs with shorter inseam was in the works in a few months. I waited for months because I knew it was going to be worth it. A lot of Filipinos recommended Red White bibs for long distance. And when the short inseam bibs finally became avalable, I immediately bought one and it was delivered in 3 days. Tested the fit and it was amazing. Finally a bib that was right on all the right places, finally a bib that didn't extend all the way up to my knees. The brace was wide and very comfortable. These bibs are nothing short of amazing. Perfect. My hunt for the best fitting bibs are over. These will always be my go to bibs when I want to buy another set.

For reference I am 171cm tall and weigh 93kgs.

The best bib shorts I've ever had

Previously, I had reviewed the stealth bib shorts and viewed them as the best I've ever had. I now have to update this position. The cargo bib shorts match the stealth for comfort and security and exceeds the latter in utility. Even if you aren't in the habit of carrying a million things on your person, the cargo is a safe bet.

      - Need to pop in the restroom? No need to fiddle around with your phone, just put it in your cargo pockets.
      - Racing and you don't want to deal with the trash in your feed bag? Pockets.

If you're worried that putting stuff in the pockets may be distracting or disruptive, you can lay those fears to rest. I've placed my phone in there and *forgotten* about them. It's *that* comfy.

The only issue I've had (and this isn't an issue with this particular product, but theoretically it's an issue all cargo shorts have) is they're a little harder to put on because now you can't just pull on the thigh fabric, as the pocket is in the way. It's a small price to pay for all the value you get out of this.

Did my first Amy's Gran Fondo race (Lorne, Victoria, Australia) with my new RW Cargo Bib Shorts and it was comfortable and the pockets are very useful. Thank you

      So comfortable!

I was in search of a comfortable bib that had an awesome chamois. Everything I had seemed like the chamois was protective but I was soar for days after every 10 mile ride. After doing online research, I heard about red white and I am so so happy with the comfort and quality! Now I can ride as far as my legs allow without the worry of soreness later in the week. Thanks for making and caring about your amazing cycling bib!!!!!

A proven favorite and tremendous value

This is my second pair of RedWhite bibs as I decided to treat myself to a new pair after wearing my others almost exclusively for several years and many thousands of miles. I could not be happier with the quality, comfort, and fit. I am 6'-1" tall and about 190lbs, so the XLs worked just right for me. As good as my old ones were, I'm so happy I upgraded to these - pockets on bibs are a revelation! I use them WAY more than I thought I would, especially for endurance rides, and the size/placement is spot on. I just completed a 100 mile ride with 5500' of climbing and finished feeling great, with no painful distractions in the saddle. I will continue to be a RedWhite loyalist and do my best to spread the word. Nothing compares at the price.

      Cargo is so helpful!

I felt the pockets were designed to be deeper and closer to the body than other bib shorts with cargo.
it is safe to ride with an iPhone 13 in them!

      Anders (Ulvik, Vestland, Norway)

Have used these bibs on a few rides, and I really like them. Comfortable, good pad for longer rides.
Only negative is that the legs could have been longer. I'm 202cm tall and skinny/athletic, and the fit is right on, but a little short on the legs. It's not to short to use, but would really like a "long" or "tall" option.

      Greg Scileppi
      RedWhite Bib w/pockets

Great fit with really great padding for longer rides. Pockets are great, easier to access gels than fishing around the back of your Jersey!

Stephen Walker (Newburyport, Massachusetts, United States)
      Amazing all-day comfort

I cannot say enough about these shorts. I have tried many different brands of shorts over the years in search of all day comfort. These shorts get it right. I had the false belief that more bulky pads would be better, but could never find the right combination that worked for me. These shorts are amazing. The mad material is slightly more dense than some of the other products I have tried. As a result, after riding all day-- I am comfortable and don't feel like I am wearing through the pad. I have not had any saddle sores with these shorts and could not be happier. Thank you for making a great product! I am also very impressed with your shipping and logistics for the company. My order arrived very quickly, and I could not be happier. I recommend the cargo bib because of the additional pocket options that allow you to tuck small items into your shorts that you would otherwise be putting in a jersey pocket or bag on your bike. The cargo bibs find the right balance of additional pockets without over-doing it. Again- I could not be happier with these shorts. I'll definitely be buying more pairs in the future. Thank you!
