*The BIB is also available in the new 10 Year Anniversary Special Edition. Same Bibshort, with special red and white logos to mark RedWhite's 10th Anniversary.

**Sizing Note : If you are a short and heavy rider, look for the shorter inseam size option. If you're tall & lean, look for the longer inseam size option. If ever in doubt, use the Sizing Helpdesk for a personalised size recommendation.

***The critical dimension for sizing is the glute circumference. Weight is a loose proxy for this. Naturally, a taller person will weigh more, hence the expanded weight range for Longer Inseam bibs. Do not pick a size based solely on weight and pay attention to the glute circumference.

The BIB (Men's) is RedWhite's signature long distance cycling bib short for men. It is a tool that will help you ride further, comfortably.

This bib short is available in 3 inseam length options : Regular, 2" Shorter Inseam and 2" Longer Inseam.

A Bib Short Built for Long Distance Rides

This bib short is designed to help you crush big miles in comfort. It is made for rides of more than 5 hours and has been ridden in events such as :

  • Transcontinental Race
  • AUDAX
  • Paris-Brest-Paris
  • Race Across America
  • Pacific Coast Bicycle Race
  • Atlas Mountain Race
Available in 3 Inseam Lengths:

This bibshort is available in 3 inseam lengths - Regular, 2" Shorter Inseam & 2" Longer Inseam. The 2" Shorter inseam version is a Regular Length with 2" taken off the legs. The 2" Longer inseam version is a Regular Length with 2" added to the legs.

For example : A 180 lbs (81kg) rider who is 5 foot 6" with a 41 inch glute circumference would need a size XL. However, the size XL (Regular) will be too long for him. He will need the size XL (2" Shorter Inseam) for his 5 foot 6" height. On the other end of the spectrum, a rider who is 145 lbs and 6 foot 1 inch tall with a 35.5 inch glute. This rider will find a S (Regular) too short in the legs and will need S (+2" Longer Inseam).

        My third pair!

This is my third pair of RedWhite shorts. Went for the longer variant and this was a good choice, as the normal length in my usual size was a little on the short side. It's just a case of paying attention to the fitting guidance.

The firmness and thickness of the chammy is above and beyond other brands I have (which mostly use Elastic Interface pads). The bib straps are perhaps a little basic compared to more "couture" brands but they do the job and aren't uncomfortable.

These are my first choice every time on 200km+ rides. Highly recommended!

        Comfort from first use.

eceived these one week before my 10-day attempt at LEJOG. The plan was for them to be a backup pair to my usual Assos bib shorts. I took them for a 30-mile spin a few days before and loved them. I wore them on the first day of LEJOG and had zero issues; they were comfortable throughout. So much so that I washed and dried them each night and wore them for 10 days in a row. Very comfy and well-made shorts. I had no issues during my trip, and these will now be my number one bib short brand going forward.

        Brilliant Bib Shorts

I have tried bib shorts from many manufacturers but have never found any that are comfortable after 3+ hours riding. Since receiving The Bib I have ridden a dozen or so 5+ hour rides and have found them to be the best I have worn.
I followed the advice for measuring and the fit is superb. I don’t really notice the material during the ride as there is no discomfort at all. The shoulder straps are supportive without being overly tight. The leg grippers do their job well and the legs stay firmly in place.
Perhaps the very best part of The Bibs is the pad. In the past I have found discomfort, even from very expensive shorts, where I have had to spend time shuffling and getting out of the saddle. I didn’t have any such issues with The Bibs which were extremely comfortable throughout. If I was being picky after 3-4 hours I could feel a slight pressure on the saddle but nothing that meant I had to move or stand.
In short, these are the best Bib Shorts I have ever worn, and I have tried a lot of brands in the past.

        My New Favorite Bibs

The bibs arrived in the time frame communicated. The bibs and pad felt similar to my other quality bibs and they fit well from using the size guide. I appreciated the short length option so they didn't go to my knees. After washing, I took my first ride in hot, humid conditions. They felt great, I didn't even think about my bibs while riding, unlike a others I have that can get more engaged, iykyk. I'll definitely be using these on longer, hot- weather rides.

        New go-to bib

I heard about RedWhite from a Reddit post. After reading the story behind there development, I decided to give them a try. My first ride was a metric century. The bibs worked wonderfully. Never had any discomfort. The next test was on a tour of Alaska. I used the RedWhite the second day on an 80 mile ride with no discomfort. I was also using several other brands including Sugoi RS Pro 2 and Assos Mille GT C2. Both these were fine, but after 4 days and over 200 miles things were getting a little tender. On day 5 I went back to the RedWhite on a 58 mile ride. I was pleased to see that most of the tenderness didn't affect me. Late in the ride I felt a little saddle sore, but much better than the previous days. The last day was back to another brand and again had some tenderness issues. All the bibs I road were brand new - with only the RedWhite being used once. I was really impressed with the RedWhite bibs, especially given the price. They will definitely be my choice next time I buy bibs.

Strongly recommend getting fitting help from Yuva. I would definitely have ordered the wrong size without his input. The Sugoi bibs were 2XL, the Assos were 3XL and the RedWhite were 4XL... They all fit about the same.
