*Sizing Note : If you are a short and heavy rider, look for the shorter inseam size option. If you're tall & lean, look for the longer inseam size option. If ever in doubt, use the Sizing Helpdesk for a personalised size recommendation.

**The critical dimension for sizing is the glute circumference. Weight is a loose proxy for this. Naturally, a taller person will weigh more, hence the expanded weight range for Longer Inseam bibs. Do not pick a size based solely on weight and pay attention to the glute circumference.

The BIB (Men's) is RedWhite's signature long distance cycling bib short for men. It is a tool that will help you ride further, comfortably.

This bib short is available in 3 inseam length options : Regular, 2" Shorter Inseam and 2" Longer Inseam.

A Bib Short Built for Long Distance Rides

This bib short is designed to help you crush big miles in comfort. It is made for rides of more than 5 hours and has been ridden in events such as :

  • Transcontinental Race
  • AUDAX
  • Paris-Brest-Paris
  • Race Across America
  • Pacific Coast Bicycle Race
  • Atlas Mountain Race
Available in 3 Inseam Lengths:

This bibshort is available in 3 inseam lengths - Regular, 2" Shorter Inseam & 2" Longer Inseam. The 2" Shorter inseam version is a Regular Length with 2" taken off the legs. The 2" Longer inseam version is a Regular Length with 2" added to the legs.

For example : A 180 lbs (81kg) rider who is 5 foot 6" with a 41 inch glute circumference would need a size XL. However, the size XL (Regular) will be too long for him. He will need the size XL (2" Shorter Inseam) for his 5 foot 6" height. On the other end of the spectrum, a rider who is 145 lbs and 6 foot 1 inch tall with a 35.5 inch glute. This rider will find a S (Regular) too short in the legs and will need S (+2" Longer Inseam).

        Highest praise, 10,023’ high!

I have been recently riding longer distances to prepare for the upcoming season and looking for the best possible bibs to ensure maximum comfort. I considered these a bit expensive but felt that you can’t put a price on comfort so I bought one pair to give them a try. I sent in my measurements and the fit was perfect. I have since bought a second pair and they are my go to bibs for any long ride. I went to Maui and rode up Haleakalā on a rental bike with less than perfect fit and an unfamiliar saddle but never once did I think about saddle discomfort. That is the highest praise I can imagine. I am the guy on the left with the big smile on my face.

        Men’s Bib Shorts

I used a pair of Assos GT Mille C2’s when I did Chase The Sun 2024 (205 miles) and found these great. So the bar was pretty high. While I am yet to do that kind of distance so far this year, I have worn my RW’s on a number of mileages between 50 and 80 miles and found them to be almost as comfortable! The padding for your squishy bits I’d say is better on the RW’s with the stomach area support slightly better (for me!) with the Assos. But it’s marginal. Overall, I cannot speak highly enough of my RW’s. Add to that the customer service and the competitive pricing and I’ll be back for more (when I have worn the other pair out!)

        Fantastic

Very nice bibs forth pair I’ve owned now, only downside is I am of bigger build aka fat and the front of bib is very low cut.
Have recommended to lots of people.
        Thanks yava

The best in 40 years of cycling!

Simply the best bib shorts I have ever used. I cycle big distances and my last adventure was in NZ and I needed a short that would give me 4600KM of comfort and reduced sores. It took me 31 days to cover the distance using a fully loaded gravel bike over multiple terrains (Gravel, sealed road, 4x4).
I had read the reviews and was skeptical, I have spent a fortune on high-end shorts and most sets still leave me with sores despite a few bike fits and many saddle changes. I averaged 100miles a day for 31 days and I did not suffer one sore! These work for me and I have returned to purchase 2 more sets as I'm attempting London Edinburgh London this year and I need to not be worrying about discomfort!
Some advise, I'm 6ft (183cm) and weigh 80kg. Large is a perfect fit for me. They do come up an inch or so shorter than most other brands which just increases the tan line! The holding band at the end is wider than most which helps with grip especially when using knee/leg warmers as they don't move. They are very comfortable once washed once (Stiff on first wear). I sweat more than most but in NZ I felt very comfortable despite the 30deg heat in the North Isle (Feb25). I consider them very good value, I have certainly paid a lot more for lesser quality.
This company focusses on one product, that for me is enough to give them a go. I have recommended them to friends and two have purchased with no complaints, so it's not just me. I hope this review helps anyone contemplating a set, you will not be disappointed.

The kind of bibshorts you forget you’re wearing, even at the end of a long day of riding. Easily the best option in this price tier and maybe even one higher. On top of that, Yuva was incredibly quick to honor the crash warranty discount after I had a nasty spill and ripped a few holes in my shorts. Don’t know where I’d be without RW!

        Awesome bib!

I trained a few times in this bib for 2+ hour rides then put it to the test during a 60 mile road race in the rain. The bib performed beautifully and kept me comfortable. It wicked moisture well and did not chafe. I felt fresh all the way until the end. My new favorite piece of cycling gear. Thank you!!

I now have two pairs. These are great for long distance stuff and, when you put your old shorts back on, you will be so disappointed at the level of padding!
Only poont i would make is that, at 6ft, i’d probably prefer the longer leg than the one recommended in the sizing advice.

I, like many other leaving reviews here, have done the bike comfort dance and finding these Red white bibs was the crucial missing link. I now have several other bibs I don't even want to donate to another poor soul to suffer through. I was constantly hurting and on the verge of saddle sores with even some of the more popular, social media advertised, offerings. Once I tried these, I knew there was something different. Firstly the fit is snug, but it should be as that is key to keeping the bibs in place and not bunching and rubbing, which is a plague that makes me wonder if some of these other bib mfgs even wear the bibs they make. I need to order another 3 pairs as I only wear these and am afraid constant washing is going to destroy a precious piece of my kit. 1 year and still going strong.

        The bib

I was little skeptical of the bibs at first, but after my first ride these bibs are the most comfortable I have ever used. I will be purchasing another pair.Very happy cyclist.
