2025 is a very special year for RedWhite Apparel. It marks RedWhite's 10th Year of selling the bibshort we first started with - The BIB. In the last 10 years, this bibshort has been the most popular bibshort ever sold by RedWhite Apparel. It is the bibshort that RedWhite Apparel is best known for.
Over the years, The BIB has been refined and improved. 2025 marks the culmination of this effort with a new Drop-Tail version.
To mark this occasion, we present to you a 10 Year Anniversary Special Edition of The Drop-Tail BIB. This new bibshort is identical to The Drop-Tail BIB except for 2 special rubber logos stitched on the bibshort that are red and white in colour.
One is the usual round "RW" logo (specially made in a red and white colourway) and the second is a small rectangular logo with the words "10th Anniversary Special Edition" rendered on it.
Please note that this bibshort will be produced in volume. It is not a limited edition piece. This new bibshort will remain on RedWhite's product catalogue as long as there is sufficient customer demand for it.
*It is recommended to use a sports bra without a plunging centre with this Drop-Tail Bib Short for added comfort. Ideally, use sports bras with a rounded neckline / camisole style.
**Sizing Note : If in doubt about sizing, use The Sizing Helpdesk.
The Drop-Tail BIB (Women's) - 10 Year Anniversary Special Edition is RedWhite's signature long distance cycling bib short for women with a Y-style Drop-Tail strap for easy nature breaks. The front of this bibshort uses a Y-style mesh strap with a plunging neckline for comfort. The back features a split strap that connects just above your posterior for easy pull-down during nature breaks.
Just pull it down at the rear, do your thing and pull it back up. No awkward magnetic clasps, buckles or attachments to fiddle about with.
A Drop-Tail Bib Short Built for Long Distance Rides
This bib short is designed to help you crush big miles in comfort. It is made for rides of more than 5 hours and has been ridden in events such as :
- Transcontinental Race
- AUDAX
- Paris-Brest-Paris
- Race Across America
- Pacific Coast Bicycle Race
How to use the Drop-Tail Strap :
This bibshort is designed to be pulled down at the rear without removing your jersey. To use this feature, do the following :
- Lift the rear of your jersey and hook your thumbs into the gap between the straps at the rear.
- Gently bend your legs at the knees.
- Pull down the bibs over your posterior. You will encounter some tension in the straps when you pull it down past the mid point of your posterior. This is normal and the bibs have been designed for that.
- Bend your knees more while pulling down the bibs even more at the rear.
- You should now be able to sit or squat comfortably for a nature break with the rear of the bibs out of the way.
