Sizing & Fit
How do I find my correct size?
The single most important measurement is your glute circumference β measured at the widest point of your buttocks, without trousers on. Height and weight alone are often not enough because body composition varies a lot between riders.
The easiest way is to use our Sizing HelpDesk: submit your height, weight, and glute circumference and Yuva will personally recommend your size, usually within 24 hours.
What measurements do I need to provide?
For a confident recommendation, please provide:
- Height
- Weight
- Glute circumference (measured at the widest point, without trousers)
- Inner leg / tan line length (helpful for choosing the right inseam variant)
If you're borderline between sizes, a photo of yourself in your current bibs is also very helpful.
What inseam length options are available?
The BIB and Cargo Bib are available in three inseam variants:
- Regular β approximately 12 inches when worn and stretched out on the body
- +2" Longer Inseam β for taller riders or those with a longer tan line
- β2" Shorter Inseam β for shorter riders or those who prefer a shorter leg
For the Winter Tight (Men's), two inseam variants are available: Regular and β4" Shorter Inseam. Note that multiple inseam length options are only available on men's products β women's styles come in a single inseam length.
Do the Cargo bibs fit the same as The BIB?
No β Cargo bibs run tighter than The BIB. If you wear size L in The BIB, you will typically need to go up to XL in the Cargo Bib. Always size up by one size when ordering Cargo bibs for the first time.
How do RedWhite bibs compare to other brands in sizing?
RedWhite bibs fit as tight as Castelli. If you wear M in Castelli, you will likely fit M in RedWhite. One difference: RedWhite bibs have slightly shorter legs than Castelli, so if you prefer a longer inseam, consider the +2" variant.
Compared to brands like Rapha, most customers find they are between sizes or need to go a half-size up. The Sizing HelpDesk will always cross-reference your current brand and size to give you the best match.
Are RedWhite bibs suitable for hybrid or leisure cycling?
RedWhite bibs are designed specifically for road bike (aggressive/forward) riding positions. The chamois pad is engineered for the pressure points and contact zones of a road bike position.
If you ride a hybrid bike or sit in an upright position, the pad placement will not align correctly with your sit bones and may cause discomfort. We recommend RedWhite bibs for road cycling, gravel, and endurance riding only.
What if I'm between sizes or have an unusual body shape?
This is exactly what the Sizing HelpDesk is for. Riders with larger glutes-to-weight ratios, very muscular legs, or non-standard proportions benefit most from a personalised recommendation. Yuva will ask follow-up questions β including requesting photos if needed β to make sure you get the right size first time.
What sizes are available?
RedWhite bibs are available from XS through 4XL (exact size range varies by product). Men's styles are available in up to three inseam lengths (Regular, +2" Longer, β2" Shorter), with the exception of the Winter Tight which offers Regular and β4" Shorter. Women's styles come in a single inseam length.
Product Information
What products does RedWhite Apparel offer?
Our current product range includes:
- The BIB (Men's) β our flagship long-distance cycling bib short, available in Regular, +2" Longer, and β2" Shorter inseam variants
- The Cargo Bib Short (Men's) with Pockets β same performance as The BIB with the addition of large side pockets; runs slightly tighter than The BIB
- The Drop-Tail BIB / Cargo Drop-Tail Bib β a drop-tail design for riders who need easier nature breaks on long rides
- The Cargo Winter Bib Tight (Men's) with Pockets β a full-length winter tight for cold-weather endurance riding
We also carry women's versions of key styles. Visit redwhite.cc for the current full range.
What is the difference between The BIB and the Cargo Bib?
The primary difference is storage: the Cargo Bib adds large side pockets β many customers find them bigger than competing cargo bibs and report being able to carry significantly more on rides.
The Cargo Bib also has a slightly tighter construction than The BIB. If you're ordering both, size up by one size in the Cargo Bib relative to your BIB size.
What is the chamois / pad like?
The pad is engineered specifically for long-distance and endurance riding on a road bike. Many customers who have struggled for years with saddle sores and perineum discomfort with other brands find the RedWhite pad design resolves those issues. The pad is optimised for a forward (road) riding position and is not suitable for upright or hybrid riding.
Are the bibs designed for both men and women?
Yes. We offer dedicated men's and women's versions of our key styles. Women customers have reported the bibs solving long-standing saddle comfort issues on endurance rides. Use the Sizing HelpDesk for a personalised fit recommendation regardless of which version you're ordering.
Are items ever out of stock? When do you restock?
Specific variants (size + inseam combinations) do sell out from time to time. If your size is unavailable, email us and we'll let you know the expected restock date. In some cases we proactively notify customers who missed out and offer them early access.
Returns & Exchanges
What is your return and exchange policy?
We accept returns and exchanges on items that are in new, unworn condition with the paper tag still attached. Once a bib has been worn on a ride, it is no longer eligible for a return or exchange per our Returns Policy.
We want you in the right size. If you need to exchange, the process is simple: get your return label, send the item back, and we'll dispatch the correct size.
Who pays for return postage?
This depends on whether you used the Sizing HelpDesk before ordering:
- If Yuva personally recommended your size via the Sizing HelpDesk and it doesn't fit, the return/exchange label is free. We take responsibility for the recommendation.
- If you chose your own size without using the Sizing HelpDesk, you purchase a subsidised return label from us at cost β much cheaper than buying retail postage yourself.
How do I start a return or exchange?
The process is region-specific:
- USA: Purchase a subsidised USPS Return Label at redwhite.cc/products/usps-return-label (or we'll send you one free if you used the Sizing HelpDesk). Pack the shorts in a mailerbag, stick the label on, and drop it at your local post office.
- UK: We'll email you a Royal Mail return label. Pack and drop at your nearest post office or Royal Mail counter.
- Australia: We'll email you an AU Post return label.
- Germany: We'll email you a Deutsche Post return label.
Please also read our full Returns Policy before getting in touch. Then email yuva@redwhite.cc with your order number and reason for return/exchange to get started.
Can I exchange for a different size if I've already worn the bibs?
Unfortunately, worn bibs are not eligible for return or exchange per our Returns Policy. That said, please do contact us β we'll do something to take the sting out of purchasing a replacement in the correct size.
Can I try two sizes and return the one that doesn't fit?
Yes β if you're genuinely borderline between two sizes and want to try both, we can accommodate that. Purchase both, try them side by side, and return the one that doesn't work. Contact us first so we're aligned on the process and postage arrangements.
What happens if I return an item without contacting you first?
Please always email us before starting a return. This ensures the correct label type is used, we're expecting the parcel, and your exchange can be dispatched as quickly as possible. Unsolicited returns may cause delays in processing.
Shipping & Delivery
How long does delivery take?
The standard delivery window is 5β8 business days from the date of dispatch. This applies to most international destinations including the US, UK, Europe, and Australia.
Once your order is dispatched you'll receive a tracking link via email. You can also contact us with your order number for a status update.
Can my order be expedited / rushed?
Unfortunately we are unable to offer expedited shipping or guarantee a specific delivery date. If you have a race or event coming up, we recommend ordering with at least 10β12 business days to spare to allow a comfortable buffer.
Which countries do you ship to?
We ship worldwide. We regularly send orders to the USA, UK, Australia, Germany, Singapore, Canada, and many other countries. Shipping is free to most destinations β the price you see at checkout is the price you pay.
United States customers: As of 26th April 2026, prices shown to US customers include all applicable tariffs. You will not be charged any additional duties or taxes by FedEx or DHL at delivery.
Customers in other countries may still be subject to import duties charged by their own government β see the Import Taxes & Duties section below.
Which couriers do you use?
For international orders we use FedEx, DHL, or UPS depending on which is most efficient for your destination. For orders shipping to Singapore we use Ninjavan. The courier assigned to your order will be shown in your dispatch notification email along with a tracking number.
I entered the wrong shipping address β can you fix it?
Yes β if your order hasn't shipped yet, email us immediately at yuva@redwhite.cc with your order number and the correct address. We can update this before dispatch at no charge.
My order shows as undelivered / held at customs β what do I do?
United States customers (orders placed after 26th April 2026): Your price at checkout already includes all applicable tariffs. Your order should clear customs without any additional duty payment required from you. If FedEx or DHL contacts you requesting a duty payment on a US order placed after this date, please email us at yuva@redwhite.cc immediately β this would be an error and we'll resolve it.
All other countries: Orders may occasionally be held at customs pending payment of import duties charged by your government. Your courier (FedEx, DHL, or UPS) will contact you directly with instructions for paying and releasing the package. If you choose not to pay and the package is returned to us, we can issue a refund after deducting the outbound and return shipping costs, plus the duty amount. Unfortunately the duty is still owed to the government even when a package is rejected β governments levy it at the point of import and do not issue refunds.
Import Taxes & Duties
Why am I receiving a bill from FedEx / DHL for duties?
US customers (orders placed after 26th April 2026 at 6:45pm GMT+8): You should not be receiving a duty bill. Your checkout price already includes all applicable US tariffs. If FedEx or DHL has contacted you requesting a duty payment, please email us at yuva@redwhite.cc with your order number and the notice you received β this is an error and we will resolve it.
All other customers (or US orders placed before 26th April 2026): RedWhite Apparel ships from outside your country. Depending on your country's import rules and any applicable trade tariffs, your government may levy an import duty or tariff tax on the parcel. This is a government charge β it is not a fee charged by RedWhite or by the courier. The courier collects the tax on behalf of the government when delivering to you.
How much are the import duties for US customers?
As of 26th April 2026 at 6:45pm GMT+8, the price shown to US customers at checkout includes all applicable tariffs. There are no additional duty charges at delivery β what you see at checkout is the final price.
For US orders placed before this date, import tariff charges typically ranged from approximately $18β$25 per order, collected by FedEx or DHL on behalf of the US government at the point of delivery.
Was this disclosed before I ordered?
For orders placed from 26th April 2026 onwards: US tariffs are included in the price shown at checkout β there is nothing additional to pay. No separate disclosure is needed because there is no separate charge.
For orders placed before 26th April 2026: Information about import taxes and duties was available on our website at redwhite.cc/pages/tax-information and was linked in the footer of every page. We acknowledged that some customers missed this, and we are glad to have now resolved this by including all tariff costs in our US pricing directly.
I think the duty notice I received is a scam β how do I verify it?
US customers: If you placed your order after 26th April 2026, a duty notice from FedEx or DHL relating to your order is very likely fraudulent β your duties are already covered. Do not pay it. Forward the notice to us at yuva@redwhite.cc and we'll confirm.
All customers: Legitimate duty notices will include a tracking number that matches the one in your dispatch email from us. If you receive a text or email with a tracking number you don't recognise, send it to us and we'll cross-reference it against our shipping records. The couriers will follow up legitimate duty bills with written letters in addition to texts/emails. If in doubt, log in directly to the courier's official website and search your tracking number there β do not click links in unexpected messages.
What happens if I refuse to pay the import duties?
US customers (orders placed after 26th April 2026): There are no import duties for you to pay or refuse β they are already included in your checkout price. If you are being asked to pay duties, contact us immediately.
All other customers: If import duties remain unpaid, the courier will be unable to clear the package through customs and delivery will be withheld. Eventually the package is returned to us. In this case, we can issue a refund after deducting the outbound shipping cost, return shipping cost, and the duty amount itself. Unfortunately the duty cannot be waived β governments levy it at the point of import and do not issue refunds even if you reject the package. We are not able to absorb these costs on your behalf.
Do I pay duties on a returned / exchanged item?
Return parcels are declared as zero-dollar-value items and should not attract import duties. If you receive a duty notice on a return or a replacement shipment that was sent free of charge, contact us immediately β this may be an error and we'll help you resolve it with the courier.
US customers: Replacement shipments are covered by the same tariff-inclusive pricing as regular orders β you should not receive a duty notice on any inbound RedWhite parcel.
Quality & Defects
My bibs have a hole / loose stitching β what should I do?
Please email us photos of the issue (without wearing the bibs, so we can see the context and location clearly) along with your order number. We'll assess whether it's a manufacturing defect or a sizing-related issue and respond quickly.
Genuine manufacturing defects (holes, loose stitches that aren't related to fit) are replaced free of charge β no need to return the defective item first.
My bibs tore / got a hole β is this a defect if I didn't crash?
It depends on where and how the damage occurred. Here's how we assess these cases:
- Hole at the pad/lycra seam: Usually indicates the bib is too small β excess tension from the pad threads cuts into the lycra fabric. Solution: size up.
- Random hole in the body fabric: May be a genuine manufacturing defect. Send us photos and we'll investigate.
- Fabric thinning / becoming sheer after extended use: If this occurs within a month of normal use, it is very likely a defect. If it occurs after many months of heavy riding, it is more consistent with normal fabric wear.
In all cases β send photos and we will do right by you.
I received a defective item β do I need to send it back?
For confirmed manufacturing defects, we typically do not require you to return the defective item. We'll send a replacement once we've reviewed the photos and confirmed the defect. This saves you the hassle and postage cost of returning something that has already failed.
Is there a warranty on RedWhite bibs?
We stand behind our products. While we don't publish a fixed warranty period, we assess every quality complaint individually and fairly. If a bib fails prematurely under normal use, we'll make it right. Contact us at yuva@redwhite.cc with your order number and photos.
Order Management
I accidentally placed a duplicate order β what do I do?
Contact us as soon as possible at yuva@redwhite.cc. If the duplicate order hasn't shipped yet, we'll cancel it and issue a full refund promptly. If you intentionally need multiple pairs, just let us know and we'll ship both.
Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?
Yes β as long as your order hasn't been dispatched. Email us immediately with your order number and the change you need (address correction, size change, or cancellation). Once an order is shipped, changes cannot be made and you'll need to go through the returns/exchange process if required.
I didn't receive an order confirmation email.
First, check your spam or junk folder β our emails occasionally end up there. If you can't find it, email us at yuva@redwhite.cc with the name and email address used at checkout and we'll locate your order and resend the confirmation.
To prevent future emails going to spam, add yuva@redwhite.cc to your contacts or mark it as a trusted sender.
My order was cancelled β why?
Orders are occasionally cancelled if a specific variant sells out between the time you place the order and when we process it. If this happens, we will always contact you, issue a full refund, and let you know an estimated restock date. You'll have the option to re-order once stock is available.
Saddle Comfort Tips
I'm experiencing perineum / groin pain on the bike β can the bibs help?
Perineum pain (pain in the soft tissue between your sit bones) is usually caused by the saddle pressing upward into the perineum β often a result of saddle height being too high or the saddle nose being angled upward. The bib shorts themselves play a supporting role, but saddle fit is the primary fix.
Suggested steps:
- Lower your saddle height slightly (even 2β3mm can make a significant difference)
- Ensure your saddle nose is level or very slightly angled downward
- Confirm your bib size is correct β a bib that is too large can allow the pad to shift, contributing to friction
If you're experiencing one-sided pain (at the sit bone / hamstring junction), this is a different issue and is often related to saddle position or a leg-length discrepancy. Email us and describe the location β we'll help you troubleshoot.
My bibs are causing discomfort β is this a sizing issue?
Discomfort from bibs is almost always either a sizing issue or a bike fit issue. Here's a quick guide:
- Tightness around hips or legs: size up
- Pad shifting or bunching: size may be too large, or the bib straps need adjustment
- Chafing or hot spots: may be too small (fabric under tension creates friction) or a saddle height issue
- Leg openings cutting in: leg circumference may require a size up even if the waist fits
If you're unsure, email us with your measurements and we'll help you determine whether you need a different size.
The bibs are comfortable but the inseam length isn't right β what are my options?
If you love the fit but the leg length is off, we offer three inseam variants per size for men's bib shorts: Regular, +2" Longer, and β2" Shorter (Winter Tight: Regular and β4" Shorter). Women's styles come in a single inseam length. Start an exchange to swap to the correct inseam variant. If you used the Sizing HelpDesk, the exchange label will be free.
