The 3/4 Winter Bib Tight with Pad (Men's) is a warm, fleece-backed 3/4 bib tight. It is recommended for use on those warmer days in the colder months when a pair of summer bib shorts is simply too cold and full length tights are too warm.

We recommend using this 3/4 tight in temperatures between 10°C - 18°C (50 °F - 65°F). This winter bib tight uses a fleece-backed lycra that is made using hollow yarns. These yarns create an air-based insulation layer that is lightweight and warm.  This 3/4 Winter Bib Tight uses  the same long-distance chamois in our popular long distance bib shorts.

To prevent riders' torsos from overheating, the upper straps on this 3/4 Winter Bib Tight is made from a lightweight mesh summer fabric. The ends of this tight is finished with our signature Silicone Macrodot Gripper.

About this Thermal Fabric :

We took care in choosing a thermal fabric that makes this winter bib tight a joy to use on your cold rides. The fabric has a wide operational temperature range, making it versatile. This fabric has the following features :

  • Recommended for temperatures between 10°C - 18°C (50 °F - 65°F)**
  • Hydrophobic Treatment - repels light rain & road spray
  • Brushed Inner Fleece for soft on-skin feel
  • Piling-Resistant
  • Contains Hollow Yarns - uses the thermal properties of air to insulate you against the cold while remaining lightweight, like a polar bear's fur
  • Polyamide on the outside of the fabric and polyester on the inside against the skin allows sweat to evaporate. Polyester yarn has a low hygroscopicity, that absorbs little water, while the polyamide yarn has a hygroscopicity that’s 3x higher. The difference of hygroscopicity between the two fibres quickly transports moisture to the outside of the fabric. Your body stays dry and comfortable

    3/4 Winter Bibs

    I ordered a pair of 3/4 winter bibs from RedWhite apparel since winter was coming on and I hate having cold knees. My order arrived quickly and it was a pair of the 3/4 cargo bibs. While those are pretty cool cycling bibs, it wasn't what I ordered. I contact Yuva and we determined the package was mislabeled. I chose to return them in exchange for the 3/4 Winter Bibs. Yuva told me there was a delay on the 3/4 winter bibs due to the global supply chain issues. No worries, I'm not in a hurry. He told me it would be 4-6 weeks but I had my new 3/4 winter bibs in about 2 weeks! Perfect timing as the weather was getting colder. The 3/4 Winter Bibs fit perfectly as per Yuva's sizing suggestion. The first ride with new bibs is always a challenge but these bibs were just like the other RedWhite Apparel I've bought. I have pretty large calves and the bibs are a little snug there but my knees are toasty warm on those 40-45 degree days. Great product and spectacular service from Yuva! I'm a fan!

    Great fit and quality!

    Took it out for its maiden ride today and did an easy 8 miles in 48 degree PNW windy weather. The fit, material and construction appear to be top notch. Planning on buying another one to rotate through them for rides.

    Overjoyed

    I bought two pairs of these winter bibs knowing they would be top quality. I was still blown away. The new fabric is soft and stretchy and looks great. The bibs are comfortable and ride warmer. Fine at 60°, I think they will work down into the low 30’s with enough clothing worn up top.

    Winter Bibs review

    Winter weather is here now in the PNW! I have had the opportunity to test these out on 5 rides now and I am wondering why I didn’t purchase these years ago! I love them!!
    I have been a customer for 2 or 3 years now and I can’t say enough about how comfortable they are on my rides. I’m a XL in RedWhites and I am a XL in other riding bibs and shorts in the past, so sizing is right on the money for me.
    Every chance I get, I brag about RedWhites!!

    Excellent fit, comfortable

    I wrote the new 3/4 length bibs on a 55-60F degree day, overcast and windy, in early October in the US. They were great and lived up to their billing. I had never worn 3/4 bib-shorts before and I liked them. They'll be great when it gets even colder outside and I look forward to wearing them.
