2025 is a very special year for RedWhite Apparel. It marks RedWhite's 10th Year of selling the bibshort we first started with - The BIB. In the last 10 years, this bibshort has been the most popular bibshort ever sold by RedWhite Apparel. It is the bibshort that RedWhite Apparel is best known for.

To mark this occasion, we present to you a 10 Year Anniversary Special Edition of The BIB. This new bibshort is identical to The BIB except for 2 special rubber logos stitched on the bibshort that are red and white in colour.

One is the usual round "RW" logo (specially made in a red and white colourway) and the second is a small rectangular logo with the words "10th Anniversary Special Edition" rendered on it.

Please note that this bibshort will be produced in volume. It is not a limited edition piece. This new bibshort will remain on RedWhite's product catalogue as long as there is sufficient customer demand for it.

The BIB (Men's) - 10 Year Anniversary Special Edition is RedWhite's signature long distance cycling bib short for men. It is a tool that will help you ride further, comfortably.

This bib short is available in 3 inseam length options : Regular, 2" Shorter Inseam and 2" Longer Inseam.

A Bib Short Built for Long Distance Rides

This bib short is designed to help you crush big miles in comfort. It is made for rides of more than 5 hours and has been ridden in events such as :

  • Transcontinental Race
  • AUDAX
  • Paris-Brest-Paris
  • Race Across America
  • Pacific Coast Bicycle Race
  • Atlas Mountain Race
Available in 3 Inseam Lengths:

This bibshort is available in 3 inseam lengths - Regular, 2" Shorter Inseam & 2" Longer Inseam. The 2" Shorter inseam version is a Regular Length with 2" taken off the legs. The 2" Longer inseam version is a Regular Length with 2" added to the legs.

For example : A 180 lbs (81kg) rider who is 5 foot 6" with a 41 inch glute circumference would need a size XL. However, the size XL (Regular) will be too long for him. He will need the size XL (2" Shorter Inseam) for his 5 foot 6" height. On the other end of the spectrum, a rider who is 145 lbs and 6 foot 1 inch tall with a 35.5 inch glute. This rider will find a S (Regular) too short in the legs and will need S (+2" Longer Inseam).

        Your measurements
Glute circumference is the most important number — take your time measuring it correctly.

        🚵
        Gravel / MTB
        🚲
        Hybrid / Upright
📏 Wrap a tape measure around the widest point of your butt, horizontally, without trousers. This is the single most important measurement for getting your size right.
How to measure glute circumference — men's guide
📐 Measure 3 inches above your kneecap (roughly at your cycling tan line).
        Step 3 of 4
Can you double-check your glute measurement?
Based on your height and weight, we typically see a larger measurement. A small measuring error here is the most common cause of sizing issues.
Two common mistakes: measuring too high (above the widest point of your glutes), or pulling the tape too tightly. The tape should sit horizontally around the maximum curve of your glutes and rest gently — no tension.
How to measure glute circumference — men's guide
        Enter your re-measured glute circumference

IMPORTANT : This Bib Short is available in 3 inseam lengths - Regular, 2" Shorter Inseam & 2" Longer Inseam. Start your size selection with your Height and pick the appropriate inseam length. Then zero in using your Weight, Hip & Glute circumference & Thigh Tan Line circumference.

Please note that the critical dimension for sizing is the glute circumference. Weight is a loose proxy for this. Naturally, a taller person will weigh more, hence the expanded weight range for Longer Inseam bibs. Do not pick a size based solely on weight and pay attention to the glute circumference.

If your body measurements don't quite line up to a particular size, please get a size recommendation via our Sizing Helpdesk. You may also email us at yuva@redwhite.cc and ask for help in picking a size.

If you're only buying one short, this is the one to buy.

These shorts are excellent; there really might not be any room for improvement. The company is based in Singapore, and the owner is the only employee! The website says the shorts are designed for long distance rides, but I don't mind being comfortable on short distance rides either, so I don't see the need to buy any other short. In fact, I think that every detail of these shorts has been thought through and refined to the point of excellence.

        > My friend prefers shorts with a pad that doesn't extend to the front but rather has felt out there for coverage. He thought they didn't make them that way any longer. Wrong! These shorts have a felt strip (they call it an "elastic mesh cup") incorporated into the front part of the pad. I have never seen that before, but I liked it.

        > The pad is comfortable throughout the ride and provides the right amount of sit bone coverage.

        > The fabric sits well on the saddle with the right amount of friction, and the thigh holds nicely. The straps were a nice mesh that felt good.

        > Nature break access was easy and repositioning felt right.

This company sells only cycling shorts, and the only decision is between a regular short, a cargo short, or an insulated winter version. They have an online questionnaire to determine size that requires some measuring. I submitted my numbers and they asked for me to redo some of the measurements. Finally satisfied, they recommended a size Medium, which is what I almost always get anyway, and it fit perfectly.

If you're only buying one short, this is the one to buy.

My review's anti-spam software initialled flagged this as spam because of that black and white photo of Marilyn Monroe. Had to go an tell it this was a fine review. Thanks for taking the time to write it Jack :)

Touro was more comfortable in my first Redwhite bibs this year, despite the weather

There are three closed-roads sportives in Scotland (Tour O The Borders, Etape Loch Ness and Etape Caledonia - I've done all three). They are a great experience although a tough challenge for a part-time 60 year old cyclist like me; not least on my backside as I don't cycle enough to make Touro's 120km and 1200m ascent painless. For my previous rides I have used Castelli bid shorts but this year I bought my first Redwhite bib shorts for the training and the ride itself, and they were better. The weather was pretty grim going up to the Beef Tub and for the main descent into Moffatt, with a strong headwind and moderately heavy (by Scottish standards) rain. Thankfully the shorts didn't rub, and I was better cushioned than I've been before. I can recommend the closed-road experience (riding with literally thousands of other riders on traffic free roads is fantastic) and definitely enhanced by being in comfortable bib shorts.

I was first unaware or the brand but found to good value

I was first unaware or the brand so I was sceptical of ordering these bib short plus also the fact that the company was not a locally based to me in the uk made me more unsure, but after looking on the web for reviews and going onto the company website I thought I would give them a try. First of all the size calculator really helped on getting a good fit I would recommend using it and it’s easy to work out my size I’ve also found out that I’m different sizes in different types of bibs…the cargo ones need to be a bit bigger than the standard. I chose the standard bibs in the end and the fit is really good for my size and weight the sizing is ‘ snug’ at first feel bit this helps on the bike they feel really nice to wear I’ve used them on a multi day bike packing trip recently and had to wash by hand while travelling and they never lost shape or condition and were comfortable on long days in the saddle… I’ve only had them for a few weeks so I’m hopeful that they last as good as the have started, I’m now playing on getting a pair of the cargo bibs and trying those as well. I really liked the money back guarantee that was stated on the web site I didn’t need to use it, but it did give me a bit of confidence in the company. Communication was also great from the company every step of the way about the shipping and delivery and it didn’t take long for delivery at all since they were coming from abroad. I would highly recommend these bibs very competitive price too, I normally buy Rapha or Lecol bibs but this feel like a good replacement hopefully they last as long. Mark UK

        Comfort while you climb

RW bibs are my go to when I have a long ride in front of me. Recently took them to Yosemite where I needed all the help I could get to jog back into the park via the 120. An awesome climb made all the better not having to worry about being comfortable in the saddle.

ASSOS GTO vs R&W BIB Review

Worn on alternating days over a 14 day LEJOG ride, the R&W BIB (10 Year Anniversary) was significantly more comfortable on saddle contact than the ASSOS GTO S11. Both pairs purchased new for this event with the latter being significantly more expensive. The R&W chamois whilst not as thick as the ASSOS, did a better job of protecting from chafing, although saddle soreness for me, was still unavoidable over such distance. The shorts felt lightweight and breathed well in hot summer weather. Longevity of the BIB is yet to be determined as these are my first pair.

Nothing to add ... RedWhite Apparel makes the best long-distance bib shorts.

I'm a slow pedaler, so my bike goals are less about speed and more about distance. I discovered RedWhite bib shorts several years ago when I was still struggling to finish a 60-mile ride without pain. The bibs did the trick, and I quickly graduated to 100-mile rides. I've put thousands of miles on 7 or 8 pairs of RedWhite bib shorts, and I buy a couple of new pairs every season.

        I’ve wasted so much money.

I bought these bibshorts sometime ago, like them so much I got another pair. But thought I’d wait to do a review so that I gave myself time to try them enough, to be sure.

I only wish I’d heard of these bib shorts before I wasted my money on other brands that simply are not as good, or as comfortable; Endura, Assos, Castelli, Rapha and others. I now always go to these bibshorts for all my rides, whilst the others lie in my drawer unused.

        Excellent customer support

There was a minor defect with my shorts. Contacted support and they rectified the issue very quickly without any fuss. That in itself self has won me over as a return customer. As for the shorts, recently rode a 100 miler and I must say they were more comfortable than my old Lecol’s.

These bibs are very comfortable, fit like second skin. Suggest you use size help desk to get the right size for you.
The sizing RedWhite uses is better than anyone else for the simple reason they size you for the areas that
matter most, Your Glutes. I normally ride 90+ kilometres a day and not sore after i am done, very nice.
        Extremely happy.

Most comfortable bib-shorts I’ve ever owned (40+ years of cycling)

Just finished riding from the Atlantic to the Mediterranean through the French Pyrenees. We completed this over 8 days & during a sweltering heatwave - mid 40’s (degrees C) in the shade, most days!! 🥵 Pre-trip, I looked at the usual premium brands but… (🤑) As most of my bib-shorts are getting a little worn now… A friend recommended RW to me & I decided to give them a go. After some helpful guidance from Yuva I bought regular, size large. After a couple of 100km-ish UK rides pre-trip, I was confident enough to include them in the 3 pairs I packed for this trip. I ended up riding 7 days in the RW’s, (washed in the shower each day & quickly dried in the blistering afternoon heat!) No discomfort or saddle sores at all. I love the fit, the cut, the shoulder straps - all good. The RW’s were just perfect. I obviously can’t comment on the longevity of this product just yet. But judging by the quality of the materials, the construction of the shorts & the stitching etc. I think the quality is excellent & you should expect a good service life. Right now, I doubt I’ll buy from another bib-short manufacturer. Only RW for me, thanks Yuva 👍

Used the sizing service and Yuva was spot on

Used the sizing service and Yuva was spot on. Supper comfortable after multiple days in the saddle. Would be good to check the sit bone width with the pad. Nice level of compression. Feels great to put on at the start of the day and that's the last tineni taught about them for the rest of the day - as it should be.

I just bought my second pair

I just bought my second pair, after I received my first pair as sort of a gamble. After I gave my measurements I was told to send a Foto of myself, as the numbers seemed ood. Then I was told that the Bible won't fit me, as I have a belly. I ordered anyway, waving my right to have them refunded. Turns out they fit perfectly. I did a 200, 300 and 600 km Brevet plus several training rides. I have absolutely no soar butt i am basically pedaling without stopping, except for the checkpoints. It feels like sitting on a cloud. Perfect cut, nice feeling even in heat (40° C, 4h) with sweat and cooling water. I hope they never change

        Best Bib-Shorts in the World.

I purchased Bib Short Size Medium (extra long) Red White 10th Anniversary specifically for Fixed Gear Cyclocross rough rider training on gravel roads with varying hilly terrains and surface conditions, there is plenty of both in and out of saddle efforts, so it’s most important the bibs stay in place and don’t move around. After riding 2-3 hours a day, a few times a week over the past several weeks, in hot weather, I can honestly attest as Georgia’s Finest Red Dirt Rider, this particular product is definitely an extremely durable and a well fitting, superior bib short. The design, materials and stitching are highest quality, really top notch in every aspect. I’ve been washing immediately after each ride, in an athletic washing bag using the cold water delicate gentle spin cycle with one capful of clear detergent for sensitive skin and hang drying overnight, ready for next ride. Red White are the ultimate provider of customer service and product, most definitely worth the money in my book.

        Awesome bib shorts

Bought my first pair of bib shorts around three weeks ago as I was suffering a bit on my 50/60 mile rides with the shorts I was wearing which had minimal padding.
The transformation was instant and incredible and don’t know why I didn’t buy a pair years ago. I can highly recommend these bib shorts from the measurement guidance from Yuva and customer service to the pleasure it has brought to my riding. I have done consecutive days riding totally 85, 100 and 40 miles on a charity ride in total comfort and not one feeling of discomfort. Great product.

        Currently my favorite bibs

I try to purchase a new pair of bib shorts every other year, and when I saw the ad for RedWhite Apparel along with the competitive price I took a chance. Fortunately for me, I was happy with the result. After testing them out on a training ride I took them with me to Bend Oregon to participate in Chefs Cycle, a 2-day/200 mile cycling fundraiser for No Kid Hungry. Wearing them the first day, I had ZERO problems. They were super comfortable, fit me perfectly (I've been lucky to be a Medium for most of my cycling career), and would ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND them to anyone on the fence about it.

At first I was not convinced in the first 2 rides

At first I was not convinced in the first 2 rides and texted Yuva who was quick and very kind in the reply.
Then I went for a 1150km trip and fortunately I had this Bib, it took me 6 days to start to feel some discomfort due to friction, no seat bone’s discomfort. Unbelievable!

The endurance bib shorts to go for!!

These are my 3rd pair of bibs in 18 months, (one winter, two summer) yesterday was day 1 of Lands End to John O’Groats (bottom to top of the UK) did 74 miles , 5200 ft climbing got off the bike with no discomfort felt at all. I couldn’t recommend these any higher… Yuva is so helpful with the sizing, if you’re unsure, drop him a line. Never going anywhere else…
