THE SIZE CHARTS ARE VERY ACCURATE.....PAY ATTENTION! The shorts appear well made. The chamois is very comfortable and the overall buying experience including fast shipping has been great. I messed up by ordering the 2" shorter shorts (personal preference) in the the regular length size. Hence the shorts are too tight on my "delicate bits" making it hard to give an accurate overall impression. Totally my fault and I plan to reorder soon in the recommended size. I hope this helps you.
Hi Frank, am I correct in assuming the XL (-2' Shorter Inseam) bib you purchased fit well but the only problem was they are simply too short on you and the grippers are gripping further up your thighs - the area where your inner thigh skin is a touch more delicate and the skin closer to your knee? - Yuva
My husband gifted me with my first pair of RedWhite and I am ecstatic over the quality and comfort....The Y style Drop Tail and scoop front is easy to use and so convenient without taking off jersey or having things fall out of jersey pockets. The Lycra and comfy macro dot gripper is without a doubt the most comfortable material I have ever worn. The shoulder straps are lightweight, soft and do not pull into shoulders. The chamois makes long rides comfortable. I am 5'4", glutes 33.5" and 100 lbs and he gifted me with a small. Yuva was very helpful re sizing and advised a XS so I ordered a second pair for comparison.
These are hands down the best bibs. Why else would I have 3 pairs and a cargo winter bib???
I have 4 of these bibs. They are fantastic. The fit, feel, comfort, and durability are outstanding. I use them on daily rides ranging from 20 to 207 miles. I will continue to use this product as long as the outstanding quality remains.
I recently purchased ‘the bibs’ standard shorts which I have just used on a 300k audax and I cannot fault them for the improved comfort for the duration of the ride. They are now my ‘go to’ shorts for any long distance ride. Great value shorts. Would definitely buy again.
I'm impressed with the fit and comfort of these bids. They have replaced my previous favorites, Pearl Izumi Pro bibs. I purchased the RedWhite XL Regular bibs, I'm 6'0" and 195 lbs. I wore them for a few sessions indoors on the trainer and was impressed with the fit. On my first ride outside I found the RedWhite bibs to be like a second skin, however the ride didn't end well. I ride gravel and crested a hill and didn't see the badger hole and crashed. Nice road rash on my right side. Needless to say, gravel is quite abrasive on bib fabric and skin. I emailed Yuva with pictures and promptly received a crash replacement discount, very easy process. No need to look anywhere else for an outstanding pair of bibs at a reasonable price.
I had a small issue with the bib shorts, and the solution was fast, simple, and very satisfactory—Yuva sent me a new one. Perfect.
I used the bib shorts for 43 hours during The Traka 560 KM, and the result was excellent: very comfortable, zero hassles, zero friction (with chamois cream). The pockets are amazing. It’s still too early to comment on durability, as I’ve only used them for a short time. One small thing: when you first put them on, they feel a bit uncomfortable around the groin, but after about 10 minutes they settle in and no longer bother you. It’s a bit odd—maybe it’s just me, or I’m not putting them on quite right. Thanks Yuva!
I just did my first century ride and I couldn't be happier with the level of comfort these bibs provided. I felt better in the RedWhite bibs after 100 miles than I do in more expensive brands after 40-50 mile rides. Along with that, the personal interaction from the owner giving sizing recommendations and advice before my purchase was amazing. Thanks, Yuva!
Received them a month ago, and they're the only ones I use now. A lot more comfortable than the Castelli, Endura and Canyon Bibs I used before. Would (and probably will) buy again!
I’m almost 5’9/175cm and 165lbs/74.8kg. Sent in my measurements and heard back promptly from Yuva, and I strongly recommend using the sizing support. Shipping was great and the fit was great. Size M. This weekend I did a 96 mile Bikepacking trip and these proved their worth. Recommended to the guys I rode with and to you
I contacted Yuva about 3 months ago about sizing for bib shorts, he provided guidance and mentioned that drop tail bib shorts were going to be available in early spring, I purchased a pair and have completed a 3 day, 200 mile tour. The shorts fitted perfectly (thanks to Yuva’s guidance) and the drop tail function was a revelation, the Y shaped front was comfortable, and the drop tail performed effectively even wearing a base layer, cycle jersey and a jacket, much better than stripping off behind a hedge!!!
The padding is excellent, no sore seat bones even though I haven’t ridden during the winter months, thank you so much to redwhite
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave this review Susan :). Really happy the Y-style straps and drop-tail worked well.
I finally found a pair of riding shorts that provide total comfort and support!! I’ve tried and tried other brands but these truly provide a much better feel. I’ll be purchasing another pair. Thanks redwhite!!
As a taller rider I have been waiting for the longer length bibs to drop as when I went through the sizing advice I was advised the standard length wouldn’t fit me. Well needless to say they didn’t disappoint, comfy, great fit and simple style. That coupled with great customer service and advice, one very pleased customer.
Just cycled through Spain. 200k per day road and gravel. RedWhite cargo shorts were excellent. Pad felt bulky at first but after first day moulded to shape. No soreness. Seem to provide better protection than my Assos keiszpanzer shorts for long distance. Pockets useful. Durable so far.
70kg 178cm longish legs. I got medium xtra long leg.
Great service, sizing and follow up from Yuva thanks! And the shorts are super comfortable. When you go for a very long ride and don't think about your backside you know they have done their job. Brilliant. Will buy again.
Hooray! I ordered the revised long leg shorts and have now used these for two rides and can easily say that so far these are easily as comfortable as some significantly more expensive brands out there. I will certainly be looking for a second pair. I am 182cm, 82kg. The size M with 2" longer inseam are a perfect fit.
I'm really surprised you picked a size M. The vast majority of customers who are 180+cm and 80+kg wear size L in The BIB and XL in Cargo Bibs. - YUVA
This is my 2nd pair, because the 1st were working so well. I am 5' 9", so I particularly like the option to shorten the inseam by 2". I'm an extra large, which is often the size for people much taller than me. Typical XL shorts are way too long. Sorry, no pics available. But I intend to buy the bibs in the fall.
I absolutely love the cargo bibshorts. The padding is exceptional and comfortable during my longest rides. One thing I really like is the Lycra feels extra thick and substantial compared to bib shorts from other brands. The pockets are great and hold items tight. I consider these to be a great deal for the price compared to other top of the line bibs. I am so very glad I used the sizing help desk as I would have chosen wrong. I will be buying more pairs!
I have been an avid cyclist for more than 50 years, now averaging 5,000 miles (8,000km) a year. For the past six years, I have worn RedWhite bib shorts and tights exclusively. I wore a pair of Winter tights during the Unbound 100. I appreciate that the product has improved with better fabric and construction each year. The long-leg bibs are the perfect fit, and the quality is second to none. I highly recommend RedWhite to anyone who values long-ride comfort, regardless of season.
I’ve been waiting for over a year to finally get the long version of ‘The Bib’ and ‘the cargo Bib’ and I must say Yuva, the wait was totally worth it!! I must have a longer femur leading to the regular bibs climbing up the thigh on each ride. The long versions are perfect. When standing they sit just above the knee cap, ~1 cm, but when riding they stay at around 3 cm above the knee cap. I have the ‘rapha team bib long’ as well and while I love the fit of those bibs, the chamois comes in second to Red White’s. Plus they cost twice aa much. Overall, they are super comfy and cost effective. I’m sold for life on these bad boys. Now, if we could just get a tan or grey color then that would be the icing on the cake 😉 Thanks Yuva!!
I already have a pair of the 10” inseam and they are perfect for long rides but I found them riding up a bit while on the saddle, I’m 5’10” tall and ordered another pair but this time got the 13” longer inseam and they’re much better, I used the sizing help desk and would advise everyone else to do the same.
Thanks Yuva for all your help
Thank you for this generous and kind review Graham. For context, Graham is 177cm tall and weighs 65.5kg. He bought the size S (+2' Longer Inseam) which has a 13 inch inseam (when fully stretched out).
The cargo bibs are my favorite bibs I own. Always find myself grabbing these over my other brandname bibs. Excellent chamois for longer rides, good quality construction. All the pockets are well designed. Great value for money. I chose the longer inseam as I have long femurs, they fit perfect.
Love the chamois and carry space in these bibs for ultra distance rides. Customer service is superior.
