The Cargo Bib Short (Men's) with Pockets

US$160.00
Quantity:

*This Cargo Bibshort sizing runs tighter in the hips & glutes than The BIB (Men's) because of the 4 pockets. Please check the sizing chart's glute circumference before making a purchase.

**Sizing Note : If you are a short and heavy rider, look for the shorter inseam size option. If you're tall & lean, look for the longer inseam size option. If ever in doubt, use the Sizing Helpdesk for a personalised size recommendation

***Please note that the critical dimension for sizing is the glute circumference. Weight is a loose proxy for this. Naturally, a taller person will weigh more, hence the expanded weight range for Longer Inseam bibs. Do not pick a size based solely on weight and pay attention to the glute circumference.

The Cargo Bib Short (Men's) with Pockets is based on our best-selling long-distance bibshort - The BIB (Men's). It is designed to help you ride further than ever before. 4 large pockets allow you to store large quantities of nutrition, inner tubes, tool kits, spare clothing and more. These pockets are made from a tough & stretchy nylon fabric that is snag-resistant.

A Bib Short Built for Long Distance Rides

This bib short is designed to help you crush big miles in comfort. It is made for rides of more than 5 hours and has been ridden in events such as :

  • Transcontinental Race
  • AUDAX
  • Paris-Brest-Paris
  • Race Across America
  • Pacific Coast Bicycle Race
  • Atlas Mountain Race
What can these pockets carry? :

The model in these photos is 6 foot 1 inch, 40" Hip & Glute circumference, weighs 182 lbs. He is wearing a size XL (Regular) and is carrying the following items, with room for more

  • Samsung Galaxy S9+ phone & 1 Gel with room for 2 more (thigh pocket)
  • 3 cereal bars, with room for 1 more (thigh pocket)
  • Banana & 2 inner tube (lower rear pocket)
  • Pump, Tyre Levers & 1 inner tube (upper rear pocket)
Available in 3 Inseam Lengths:

This bibshort is available in 2 inseam lengths - Regular, 2" Shorter Inseam & 2" Longer Inseam. The 2" Shorter inseam version is a Regular Length with 2" taken off the legs. The 2" Longer inseam version is a Regular Length with 2" added to the legs.

For example : A 180 lbs (81kg) rider who is 5 foot 6" with a 41 inch glute circumference would need a size 2XL. However, the size 2XL (Regular) will be too long for him. He will need the size 2XL (2" Shorter Inseam) for his 5 foot 6" height. On the other end of the spectrum, a rider who is 155 lbs and 6 foot 3 inch tall with a 35.5 inch glute. This rider will find a M (Regular) too short in the legs and will need M (+2" Longer Inseam).

Note for Returning Customers :

This bib short has been designed to retain the same fit, feel and performance as the bibshorts you've been purchasing for years from RedWhite. The only major change is the new Silicone Macro-Dot Gripper (see photos). This gripper was chosen for 2 reasons :

  1. It is more durable and doesn't overstretch with use. It stays grippy longer than the gripper used in our older bibshorts.
  2. It grips knee and leg warmers & coolers better. You can easily slip this gripper over the ends of your knee / leg coverings and have it hold those coverings better than the old grippers.

Keen eyed customers would notice the new rubber logo stitched on left thigh. This rubber logo has been ride-tested extensively. You won't notice it while riding. It is also washing-machine friendly and durable. Please note to only wash your bibshort in a cold wash cycle and never use a dryer-machine. Heat damages lycra and rubber.

    Transcontinental Shorts

Bought the Bibshorts for the transcontinental race and what shall I say - tried it before the race only for three rides with about 50km each. Felt great, so gave it a chance.

Finished the transcontinental race in 15.5 days (4.700km), the shorts did a great job!

So 5 stars from my side - quality is great, fit was perfect (listen to the size you get recommended, my size is one bigger than normal), no (bigger) problems with seating even after 10+ days.

If I’d do the TCR again - would use it again 😀

    Instant favourite

Honestly, my only complaint about these bibs is I cannot wear them every day! Damn laundry. they’ve made me dislike the countless other, more expensive bibs in my kit drawer.

    Excellent price/quality/confort

I was on a lookout for a new pair of cargo shorts that above all would be confortable in order to endure long rides (+10h). People from reddit recommended the brand and I'm extremely glad I tried one of these.
The mesurement guide was very helpfull in selecting the correct size of shorts. I've done 2x long rides so far (+10h with over 4000m of climbing in hot weather) and I have to say they exceeded my expectations in terms of confort. The edge of the pocket seams is a bit tighter and you can slightly feel it, but it seems to wear off after a couple of rides.
Having a shorts (instead of bib) version would be amazing. :)
Anyway, I'm extremely happy with them and I will buy from this brand again for sure.

    Excellent choice!

So this is my second pair. Yuva delivers. The cargo bib shorts are excellent in performance and value. Not only that, but so is the service (fast, clear and helpful) and the operations (ie fast delivery worldwide etc).
New customer - Cast any doubts aside. These deliver.
    Chapeau Yuva!

    High mileage comfort!

I LOVE that R/W sizing suggests measuring glutes! My size large bibs fit well, so I was hesitant to size up to XL for the cargo bibs but that was the suggestion- and it worked! After two short 30-40 mile shakedown rides I wore the XL cargo bibs for the One-Day STP (Seattle to Portland) ride. 210 miles from my front door to the finish, easily 90 miles longer than my previous longest ride- and these bibs worked very well! I (almost) never thought about them, which is what you want on a long ride. Somewhere around mile 200 I started to get a little chafing, which didn't get "bad". I've since worn them for several other 50-90 mile rides and all is good! Oh yeah- I love cargo pockets!

    Excellent product and customer service

Without question these are the best bib shorts I’ve ever ridden in. The chamois is plush but not bulky, soft against the skin, and provides lasting support. The fabric feels durable and premium.

The customer care from Yuva is superb; he replies promptly, his advice is straightforward and absolutely no BS. Whatever you do take heed of his advice. I was a little hesitant at 174cm and 60kg, to size up from small to medium for the cargo version, but I’m glad I followed his recommendation. The cargo pockets definitely make the fit more snug, but they are wonderfully superbly comfortable. I've suffered with saddle sores in recent years but these bibs are a game changer - less shifting around, no saddle discomfort, and zero issues with chafing. Recommended 100%

Excellent bib shorts and customer service

These are the best bibs I've ever used, by far. I have compared them side-by-side with others that cost much more, and these are superior in quality of materials and construction, comfort, and durability. I would never buy any others and have tried many in the past.

Buying from this company gives access to excellent customer service. Personal communication directly with the owner, who is personally committed to doing more than he needs to do for customer satisfaction, makes the decision to purchase very easy. I own three pairs of these bibs and will replace them like-for-like. I own both the cargo and standard version and like them equally. Note that, as the manufacturer cites, the cargo bibs run a little smaller than the standard model. Yuva makes sure that every customer has all the information he or she needs to make a good choice, and he stands by his product 100%. Can't recommend highly enough, as a product or a company.

    Cargo shorts

I brought these after using the sizing recommendations from Yuva and purchased the 2xl regular, initially I struggled with the chamois, feeling it was too far forward, but I have to say, after cycling from the UK to Briancon in France and back again, these are my favourite shorts. The pockets on the sides are very handy and I used the back pockets to store a bag of ice when the temperature rose to over 40 degrees plus on a couple of days. The leg grippers did deform, but this could have been down to the drying of them at a high heat. After cycling around 2300km in them, would I recommend them? Absolutely. Would I buy them again? Absolutely, I should have brought more the first time, but I guess you live and learn. These were my go to shorts everyday when I had a choice of riding in these or a pair of Assos bib shorts.

    Amazing and affordable 🙏

Since I got the bibs I put around 4000-500 km with them, including 100km+ ride. The fit, the materials are amazing but the pads are on another level. The amount of storage on the bibs is fantastic as I get to store all my gels, wind jacket, phone, 500ml soft flask, you name it and best part, storage hold everything together. Bibs don’t slide down or move around with all extra weights.
I usually use Assos bibs but prices are spicy of them. Definitely ordering another pair soon .
