The Cargo Winter Bib Tight with Pockets (Men's)
Chris Pook (Huntingdon, England, United Kingdom)
Top Winter Bib.

I’m 6ft and now 85kg. I’m 40 inches on the glutes and 18 inches above the knees.

I dropped a line to Yuva on 22nd October. He replied very quickly, and advised me to go for an XL (regular) size. I ordered them on the same day, and they shipped shortly after. They arrived this afternoon in the UK, 7 days after ordering, which I think is really good service.

I’d got the bike ready anticipating their arrival. The tracking service is really good, and Yuva keeps you updated throughout.

As soon as they came in I showered and changed and tried them on. A perfect fit. I snipped the label off and jumped on the bike.

It’s been a very cold week here, but I immediately felt the benefit of the material. The material is lighter in feel than my existing bib top, but warmer. It worked well at keeping me warm in wind and rain. The cargo pockets were a bonus. I’ve been trialling some new GoPro kit and being able to shove a boom down the leg pocket was really useful.

Only a quick first ride out today, just to test them out, and I’m delighted with them. I can around the corner of a muddy feel to see a great sunset and great light. I snapped this photo while I was out.

As ever from Red White, not just a great product, but a great service along the way. I’m looking forward to doing some decent Audax and touring rides this winter, and these will be my go-to bin tops for the season.

Thanks Yuva and team Red White Apparel!

Bib Shorts

So far I really like these. However the jury is still out. I havent really done any long rides with them just short 20 - 30m rides. The real test for me will be 50 - 75 mile rides. I will say that I did size up . I'm 5'8" 155 /160 and i ordered the large and they fit great. Probably could have bought the medium But overall I really do like them.

Excellent shorts and winter tights

Purchased shorts for use in the last few days of warmer weather and was very impressed with the comfort of the pad in the shorts on several rides. I then decided to stay with RedWhite for my winter riding and after an email exchange with YUVA decide on the shorter length fitting as I have short legs for 5'10". The fit is perfect and the guide is spot on. I have only ridden about 400km so far and it has not been super cold yet but they are very warm even at the beginning of the ride and yet I have not got too hot on the longest of climbs. They have relegated my usual Castelli tights to the back of the cupboard so thank you RedWhite.

Most comfortable

Best bibs

I’ve ordered my 2nd pair of women’s bibs, this time with the drop tail. I was stoked when Red White came up with this as when bikepacking and touring using a toilet is always a performance with normal bibs but these solve the issue and are as comfortable as always. My go to bibs. Just wish they had an extra couple of inches on the leg length as I have long legs, but hey you can’t get everything. Well done RW.

Best Bib Shorts in My Closet!

I recently purchased the men's bib shorts in size large and I can honestly say they are the best fitting and most comfortable cycling bib short I have owned. I am 6 ft 1 inch tall and 180 pounds, and the large size fit perfect for me. And I am proud to say that I am still riding long and hard at 67 years of age! I will certainly be purchasing more products from Red White Apparel.

Excellent value and comfortable

I bought 2 pairs of these bib shorts on the basis of all the reviews and was not disappointed. On a recent trip to Tenerife, these were my preferred choice of bib shorts to wear from the several different brands I took with me. No rubbing or soreness at all.

Excellent bibs

Bought my second pair of men’s bibs recently for a 130km gravel ride in Australia, they were just as good as my first pair, great fit (medium, I am 68kgs and 172cm), supremely comfortable, and feel very well made. Very happy with them. My only comment for potential buyers is that they are shorter than many other brands and finish a couple of inches above my knees, many other brands (eg Rapha) finish just above my knees. Not a criticism, just something worth noting.

An Amazing Product

We as riders usually believe that the more you pay for something, the better the product is going to be. These bibs are, nothing less than, amazing. They are price extremely well, I might even say, priced low. The fit is great, the quality is superb with superior compressive fabric and an amazing chamois that will take you as far as you like in comfort. I can't say enough...try one pair and you will be hooked. By the way, I own $300+ bibs that are not as comfortable as these.

Winter Cargo Bib Tights

As the temperature has started trending towards winter, I have had the opportunity to try out these tights. I am impressed with the quality. The material is thicker than their regular shorts and I found them to be very comfortable in 40 degree (F) temps. I am confident they will continue to be so as it dips into the upper 30s. As for the cargo style size, at 6' and 160#s I opted for the size L after consulting with Yuva, and the fit is perfect. The side pockets are very useful, although I have not used the rear yet, but I'm sure they will be highly functional as well. These tights are a great addition to my cycling wardrobe and will enable me to extend the riding season through late fall, possibly winter, and early spring!

Anniversary bib shorts

Purchased these for a 300+ mile 4 day trip around the Utah national parks… I wasn’t disappointed. I’m 6’1” and 81kg and was a bit wary of the suggested Medium Regular but they were great over the whole ride… usually a large in other brands. They appear very hygienic and although a snug fit offer the support and comfort you need without feeling restrictive, especially with consecutive days in the saddle. They wash well too. Very pleased with them to date.

Good decision comfortable ride

I recently ordered and received my 10-year anniversary pair of bib shorts for a 9-day bike trip along the Allegheny Trail in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to Harpers Ferry in West Virginia. The bib shorts were exceptionally comfortable, and I only wore a different brand bib on one day. I cannot emphasize how comfortable they were.
Standing at 5’9” and weighing 190 lbs with a 32” waist, I ordered the 2XL size, and they fit perfectly. Well done, Yuva!

Not used these yet, still warm weather riding with The Bib. Hoping they are as comfortable as The Bib. Top kit.

Hopes for marketing in Japan

I tried REDWHITE's bibs when they were first launched, but because YUVA didn't offer sizing advice at the time, I ended up buying one size too big and wasn't very impressed.

However, this time, thanks to YUVA's advice, I was able to get a good fit.

My specs are 184cm, 66kg, waist 77cm, and hip circumference 94cm, and adding 2 inches to the size S fit me perfectly.

If I were to be greedy, I'd say the cuffs were an inch longer, but I hope they change the specifications in the future.

I was concerned about the narrowness of the chamois, but I never noticed it while riding.

REDWHITE's bibs are a good product, but it's hard to find cyclists wearing them in Japan these days.

I'd like to see YUVA take their marketing a step further.

These bibs have brought back joy to my riding!

I'm a shorter older lady (159cm, 52kgs, 66 years old, longer legs shorter body). I have more curves than straight lines. I've been having trouble with pain on my seat-bones after about 20 miles which has been replacing my joy of cycling with an anxiety of how much pain is this going to cause today? I bough the size Yuva recommended, M. So far I have ridden in the bibs once for a road ride of about 40 miles.
The fit of the shorts is very good on me. The lightweight shorts material is soft and stretchy so I imagine it actually fits well on lots of body shapes. The only slight (very slight) complaint is the line across the tops of the pockets, which sometimes felt like a firm crease. I do like pockets, great for a tissue or phone but don't put small hard objects such as lip salve or tiny pots of chamois cream in them as a fall may leave a nasty bruise. Length is good for me, mid thigh. Material is quite light, but in winter (UK) I shall be wearing them under unpadded tights. The drop-tail works well. I have used many different makes and will only buy bibs with a nature break solution. Quite how some manufacturers can claim "all-day comfort" when you can't have a pee is quite beyond me. The straps do feel a bit flimsy but as I'm short there is plenty of slack and we'll see how they last. It would be a bit better for me if the top of the short/bottom of the straps were a bit lower, but then as I said before, at 159cm I'm slightly below average height and my rise measurement is low. Not overly in love with the look of the Y but I don't see or feel it once it's on, its comfortable over my breasts (30E) and doesn't wander about like some straps.
The pad is outstanding. I'm not entirely sure how Yuva has done it, but it stays in exactly the right place on my body and actually protects my ischial tuberosities. It covers less area than some, but in a good way - who wants a large section of pad showing half way up their backside? Many other manufacturers' pads seem to be placed too far back for me, resulting in a feeling of bone-to-saddle contact.  It felt as protective at the end of the ride as the start. No stitching sewn across the pad - brilliant. Possible to walk in - necessary for those hike-a-bike moments.
The not-so-good: As a chunky-thighed lady, the combination of soft stretchy bib-short material and a firm leg band give me quite bad sausage-legs. The leg band may relax out over time, and my inner thighs can't be seen while on the bike anyway. Possible longevity, as the material is so soft and stretchy, but I shall follow the washing instructions carefully. And only available in black. Would love other colours (navy blue is very popular, or dark brown).
Thanks for my new favourite bibs, that are going to bring back the joy of riding longer distances.

Great start ... then tragedy

These shorts work. Buy them!
I tested the 1st pair thoroughly; 150 miles over 3 days, minimal cleaning, light chamois cream. No problems!
I think they work because of the exceptional padding and also due to the very tight fit (I was recommended medium but ended up with large) which allows no chamois slippage).
The tragedy occurred when a car hit me, breaking my left arm and leg making it necessary to cut me out of my clothes (the second day for those bibs😓).
I'll be buying more next year (optimistically) when I can ride again.

Superb fit and feel.

I am 192cm tall and 85kg. On advice via the sizing information form, where personal information comes back, not just a bot, or at least that is how it feels, a size XL in the cargo shorts was chosen, long legs so I went for the 2” longer version too. They fit wonderfully, the right amount of compression without being over tight and the legs sit right above my knee. I could have easily been happy with the standard length too. Bob straps are soft and wide, maybe longer than all other shorts I have as they don’t pull as much. I thought this could be an issue holding everything in place, in practice though I’ve never noticed an issue. When riding they are super comfortable, not sure they’re much different to the Castelli Endurance 3 shorts I have, though I suspect as distances creep up this would change as the pad is definitely more substantial. All in all I’m super happy, you never know with these Instagram and Facebook product ads but in this case, worry not, you’ll get a quality product that is designed by Yuva, who is clearly passionate about his product!!

Very comfortable shorts, the best pad I've had

I was tired of shorts which gave me a sore groin so I decided to splash out on a decent pair of bibs. I've not been disappointed. The pad is superb and having followed the size guide the fit is good. Well worth the money.
